I'm primarily a guitar player, for 48 years, but also play bass and have taught both guitar and bass. After the sudden death of my band's bass player a few months ago, I had to be the bass player for a few weeks, till we found a suitable replacement. I needed a bass rig suitable for small to medium venues and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bass amp. I chose the PeaveyTour TKO 115. I was more than pleased. Playing an inexpensive Ibanez 5 string bass this amp sounded wonderful. And had plenty of power. The tonal options are almost endless. The TKO is warm and punchy. Clean and clear. No buzzes or rattles. It's built like a tank. It has loads of EQ options and the tilt back cabinet is a great feature. I'm in a variety band and we play Oldies, Classic Rock, Pop, Funk, Country. Hundreds pf songs from Elvis to Maroon 5. After a couple of months, we found an excellent new bass player. His first weekend with us, He used My Peavey Tour TKO. Playing a Carvin neck through bass and a Chapman Stick through it. I was astonished at how good the TKO sounded. 200 watts, or add an extension cab and get 400 watts. Clean, clear, punchy. I'm glad to be back on guitar and will be using the Tour TKO bass amp in my studio. The Tour TKO is a great bargain at $400.00. And zzounds got it to my door in only two days. Awesome!!!!!

Great amp. I have been using Peavey products for over 20 years and still find their equipment to be as reliable and great sounding as when I bought my first Peavey amp.

"Peavey amp not gonna cut it"

Purchased this amp thinking i can use a small amp for some of the smaller gigs that has enough kick to cut through. This amp is bulky, heavy, and barely puts out any sound. 400w of power should be plenty but i've played through 100w amps that have 10 times more kick than this.
