Style of Music: STRAIGHT TO THE POINT BLUES/ROCK A BIT HEAVY

Musical Experience: 30 YEARS IN MUSIC AND AM A RECORDING ENGINEER [MOSTLY]

Feature:
SIMPLE RELATIVELY HEAVY DUTY. NO KNOBS TO BUST OFF ON FRONT PANEL, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN RACK MOUNTABLE WITHOUT THE ADDITONAL RACK MOUNT EARS. BINDING POST OUTPUTS A LITTLE HARD TO GET TO ESPECIALLY IN A CROWD RACK.

Quality:
I BELIEVE QUALITY AND ROAD WORTHINESS IS PEAVEY'S SECOND LIFE TRADEMARKS. GOOD VALUE FOR THE BUCK THAT'S FOR SURE. IT WILL LAST A LONG TIME. IT'S AS QUALITY ORIENTED AS OUR BGW EQUIPMENT AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING.

Value:
AS I SAID GREAT VALUE.

Desirability:
IT'S SLEEK, BUT HAS GOOD WEIGHT INDICATING REAL TIME TRANSFORMER POWER, NOT SOME FREAKY ON-DEMAND FANTASY CIRCUITRY. IT'S BLACK AND HAS SHINY LED'S. DON'T THINK I'D DATE IT THOUGH.....BESIDES, I HARDLY EVER HOOK-UP AMPS NAKED. IT'S CHEAPER TO MAINTAIN AND IS MORE RELIABLE THAN MY LAST GIRLFRIEND THOUGH, SO MAYBE I SHOULD RE-THINK THE DATING ASPECT.IT DOES LIGHT UP WHEN I SHOVE MY PLUGS IN IT!!

Sound:
FAIRLY FLAT RESPONSE WITH ADDED PROTECTION AGAINST FRYING EXPENSIVE SPEAKS AND AMP.

Ease of Use:
LABELING ON BACK PANEL IS CONFUSING UNLESS YOU STUDY THE MANUAL ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE INPUT SECTION WHICH INCLUDES A HI/LO/THRU OUTPUT SECTION WITHIN IT! eVERYTHINGS THERE BUT LABELING IS AMBIGUOUS.

I EMAIL PEAVEY AND THE NEXT DAY A REP ASKED ME TO CALL HIM DIRECT TO DISCUSS ANY ISSUES I MIGHT HAVE WITH EQUIPMENT. YOU CAN REACH SUPPORT DURING NORMAL AMERICAN TYPE BUSINESS OURS. TOO BAD THEY DON'T STAFF THEIR SERVICE/TECH DEPARTMENTS ON GIG NIGHTS LIKE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY UNTIL 10PM EST. THAT WAY WHEN WE'RE SETTING UP AND ENCOUNTER A TECH PROBLEM WE COULD GET AN ANSWER WHEN WE NEED IT.

Seems like it will last a long time.

Value:
It is a bit pricy, espescially through my local music shop.

Sound:
Crystal clear unaltered sound. Very loud for moderate aplications, but not quite 3000 seater material.

havn't dealt with them

Feature:
Very simple features, Binding post, Speakon,or 1/4 outputs.

Quality:
Built like a tank,sounds terrific, this amp runs cool also with its internal fan.

Value:
This amp is pricey but, it is built to last[ my last Peavey amp lasted 21 years]

Desirability:
The sound and quality will make you want this amp.

Sound:
This amp absolutely rocks, I have had it for over a year now and i used it to play with my band on weekends, and to run a karaoke and dj service during the week[ 5 nights a week total] this amp has been absolutely reliable, sounds great, never clips or overheats[ i push this amp very hard]. This pv2600 is built like a tank and just keeps sounding awesome, and i've never had any problems with it at all! Great product that i would highly recommend to professionals like myself, that want a quality, well built,reliable product..

Ease of Use:
Pretty simple, set up your gear and use this amp, it is reliable.

Support:
The beat[ never needed them]

Overall:
Overall, extremely happy with this amp.

Feature:
I use this amp to power a sterio three-way drum monitor. 2-18's, 2-15's and 2-horns. When you connect your amp to equipment made by dbx,Lexicon,EV and SONOR. Chances are youll get a good sound.

Quality:
Very Reliable. There known for it.

Value:
All good amps are expensive. You wont get what your looking for in a cheep amp.

Desirability:
I never looked at an amp as sexy.

Sound:
Some people say power is power. In some respects thats true, however todays power amps offer more than power. With the DDT technology and the built in crossover and low cut filters this amp has good features.

Support:
I've never had to. (knock on maple)

Overall:
You can usually get a better deal on this amp compared to its only real competition. QSC Crown etc.
