I love this thing and have had many Peavey mixers over the years. This one is for my home studio to manage everything going to my monitors, works great. Only bummer is it was made in China, that breaks my heart!

I'm a professional sound tech, I own this mixer, this is one hell of a great mixer but because of the demand for more channels I am getting ready to upgrade and purchase the PV 14 USB.
I'm totally sold on this product!

I just got this today. ZZounds ships fast. this mixer replaces a 1202 berringer which I was less then happy with.
I looked at all the mixers from Mackie to A&H and everything in-between, in the ten to twelve channel format and found this "while a bit basic" to be the very best mixer for 300.00, which was my limit.
After spending most of the day with it, I believe I made the right choice.Its effects and eq's all work well and sound just great.
This compliments my OMB home studio. Currently I am running two Mic's, a TC Hellicon GXT vocal processor, a looper and a fender mustang mini amp through this mixer into two powered speakers.Its a killer setup for lite rock and folk/country acoustic music.
I did my homework on this mixer because all mixers are not created equally.Some give a lot more but its not going to be quality components.Only the higher priced A&H mixers beat this peavey.
Check it out for yourself. want dual volume faders from any of the big four its going to cost you 100.00 more dollars.Of course you could buy a Berringer and take your chances.

I bought this unit because I wanted something with usb capability to interact with pro tools in my home studio thinking I could some how get some control surface action from it. The interaction was limited to just being able to send a stereo track to the DAW. I should have done a little more home work . Over all the unit was good, built solid didn't run hot after ten minutes like other units in that price range. I also liked that it excepted 1/4 jacks to send to my mains because when I doing live performances I'm not running powered speakers. I returned the item to zsounds they were great in fact they found me a control surface that was priced within my budget "Behringer BCF 2000 . The return process was simple and painless great job zsounds
