Feature:
The best part of this speaker is that you can hook up a mic and an auxiliary component (MP3, cd player, etc) to it simultaneously and control their volumes separately so that you don't comprise either one in terms of sound.
Quality:
Its very tough and stirdy. Well made.
Value:
I buy good and cheap, and this one is worth twice as much as its quality. Do not spend more money on something else. This is the best value out there.
Desirability:
I can't say its sexy, its just a regular looking speaker. Looks good enough to have. Nothing exotic here.
Sound:
As expected, this thing packs an unbelievalbe punch. I can throw a block party with this thing. Its crisp, clear, and really really powerful. I usually hookup a mic and an mp3 player to it, and I never raise the volume pass #2 (of 10!).
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use. Its a little heavy to carry ~30lbs, but its worth it given how great it is.
Support:
Haven't dealt with Peavey personally, so I can't say.
Overall:
Really the best value for the size of the speaker. I looked around everywhere for a good affordable speaker and this one trumps all others in over purchasability. After going through about 10 speakers, I own only two speakers now, and both are incredible. The peavey is good for large hall parties, stage performances, etc. The TC Helicon monitors are equally good in terms of affordability and quality and are a quarter of the size. These are the two speakers everyone should own.
