I love this guitar. I have had many guitars over the years, acoustic and electric, expensive and inexpensive, Martin, Taylor, Breedlove, Gibson, Ibanez, Fender, etc,.... But I always seem to go back to Ovation. This beautiful guitar arrived in two days as promised and was in perfect condition. It was well set and sounds amazing, except I may lower the action a little. I keep my guitars tuned a half step low and will string it with a bit lighter strings, which may take care of the action. Looks like I will always have an Ovation.
Musical Background:
57 years...guitar, piano, played in bands many years ago. Now retired and playing for myself, family and friends.
Musical Style:
Folk/folk rock, country, southern rock, ckassic rock. Play mainly fingerpicking and rhythm.

This guitar sounds and looks amazing. My biggest gripes are it seems like the strings go dead fairly fast on it, and it's curved back can be a bit of a hassle in a sitting position. The audio output on it is crazy nice. Tuner is about 95% accurate.

This guitar is amazing. It sounds very close to something like a Takamine. Incredibly bright, great lows, and super smooth action. This acoustic is now my baby.
PROS:
- Great sound
- Onboard tuner
- Super smooth action
- Looks gorgeous
- Great volume
- Very lightweight
- Very nice thin neck which makes playing fast pieces much easier and more comfortable
CONS:
- Neck feels a little different than I am used to but something I'll get used to quickly.
- Stock strings are kinda meh

As soon as took this baby out of the box I kne she was great. Don't expect the same wood stain as the picture (fyi).Nevertheless it still blows me away. They took their time creating this guitar. She plays very crisp and clean. No buzzing. Great feel. Soft neck. Tuner works well. Ive played alot of different guitars over the years but ive never gotten so much bang for my buck. Thank you Ovation for the wonderful piece. Thank you Zzounds for shipping her so quickly and with care.
