Feature:
My guitar didnt include any accessories except a truss rod wrench. The factroy strings were a little rough on my fingers(medium). I recommend changing them ASAP, besides lighter strings sound better on this guitar. The onboard electronics are great.
Quality:
BULLETPROOF! I am hard on just about everything I own, this thing is tough. I have knocked it over several times and havent damaged it. The onboard tuner is great. If you are looking at another guitar that is a little less expensive it is worth the extra money to get the tuner.
Value:
YES! WORTH EVERY PENNY! When I tell people that I have an Ovation they either want to see or play it. Excellent choice for the beginner or a seasoned vet.
Desirability:
I will never own another acoustic, love Ovations. I am going to buy a 12 string Balladeer for my next one.
Sound:
I am a beginning guitar player and have owned it for about 2 months. It has a great sound with light or extra light strings. I have played it through a Peavey Rage 158 amp and it only sounds better. The onboard tuner and electronics are great. I was surprised at how deep and rich the sound is from a super shallow bowl back.
Overall:
Quality features, tone, value, and the Ovation reputation are all good reasons for getting this guitar. My guitar instructor has a Glenn Campbell Ovation Balladeer from the mid '70s that plays and looks like it did when he bought it almost 30 years ago, although the natural top has yellowed a little. I plan on keeping this guiatr until it falls apart and I don't plan on that being any time soon. BUY IT!
