I have 3 acoustic guitars and they are in this price range, a Guild, a Bedell Parlor and this Ovation. This guitar has binding, the contour body is fairly comfortable and deosnt slip away as much as the standard deep bowl.The guitar sounds fine, is a little stiff in playability right out of the case but seems to be breaking in very quickly.No flaws or blemishes it appears to offer fine value at this price.The electronics sounds very good, there is an onboard tuner and compresser also which fattens the sound and can be adjusted.The intonation is spot on, I checked by ear but it sounded fine.The tuner is very convenient, just bring a cord and a phase shifter along with you to the gig and you should be just fine.

I have played music for many years as well as taught music and music theory. Although I play a lot of fiddle these days as well as other instruments.
