And it is great. Pricey but I do not see this thing breaking in the next millenia. Pretty big so if you have a smaller pedal board, it may be something you have to work around but other than that, sturdy as hell and solid construction. For whatever reason, the light on the channel switching turns on when it is on clean. Haven't been able to get this light to turn on when I switch on the dirty channel on my CR120H. The reverb switch light works as it should.

Great foot switch. Does what i need, seems durable. The only down side is you need to purchase two 1/4” cables long enough to reach between the amp and switch. I purchased 15’ cables.

"The dirt channel footswitch light is a problem"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I bought the super crush 100 head with great expectations. I have a rockverb combo 50w which is a great amp but heavy to lug. The super crush solid state is meant to be similar in sound but it isn’t. It’s a lot lighter and has a fairly good dirt channel but it lacks grunt. Its practical but Valves sound better.
Sound
Valves sound way better, so the super crush 100 head was disappointing for me in terms of sound. The dirt channel footswitch lights up when the channel is not selected and doesn’t light up when the channel is on! Bizarre. Very annoying too when it’s dark on stage. There’s also no names for the dials which is just plain stupid. Instead there’s a symbol above each knob. I got sick of having to refer to the manual so I wrote ‘bass, treble, vol’ etc above the knobs in permanent marker. I love the sound of orange gear usually and have been using it for 30 years all around the country.
Features
The sustain on the dirt channel isn’t as good as the rockerverb. I have to turn the gain up quite a bit to get something similar but it’s still sounding like a tin can a bit. It’s missing the orange grunt that the valve amps have.
Ease of Use
Slight learning curve because it lacks Valves so tone adjustments need to be made.
Quality
Cosmetically it’s sturdy and easy to lug. The symbols above the potentiometers instead of words is stupid. The footswitch dirt channel LED problem is also bad.
Value
No
Manufacturer Support
Not very good service. Sent emails, they replied with a pre written response (presumably because everyone was having trouble with the footswitch LED).
The Wow Factor
Old Orange gear sounds great. Modern stuff is thin and weak in comparison

I bought an Orange Rockerverb 50 mkII with a ppc 1x12 and it is the best head and cab amp I have ever played with. It is rich and pure in both clean and distortion channels. The MKII 50 has made improvements with its reverb and hands down, what a great upgrade. If you want a clean + crunchy sound, this is the head to get. A very versatile toy, it can rock, dance and jazz up your sound in seconds. It pairs up very nicely with the 1x12, it takes up to 60watts and its a loud monster, I love my new set up!
