Sound: The Numark NDX800's sound Superb! There were no sound disadvantage that I experienced with these units. When used with high bitrate MP3's and high quality CD's, the NDX800's can go pound for pound with any Dj CD player on the market! Feature: The NDX800's can with all cables neded to get started. One of the most useful features I experienced was the ability to search for tracks while another was playing. Also I found it useful to create playlist and flip songs between players for non-stop music! And of course the fact you can connect USB thumb drives, USB connect control to computer/Laptop for Dj software. I do wish the NDX800's had the ability to use and share one self-powered external HD. Ease of Use: Really, it's easy to use these players! The NDX800's have the typical RCA/digital hook-ups. The brightly lit LCD screen can be read in dark settings and the screen offers all the iformation needed to access the music on Hard drives and MP3 CD's. Manipulating the sound on the NDX800's are eaasy and effective. The wet/dry fader offer some decent control as well. Quality: The NDX800's are made well! The player is light and can be fragile in irresponsible hands! A dj coffin will definately prolong the life and beauty of these players. One thing to keep in mind is to have properly working surge protectors. These players use touch sensitive jog dial and the static interference can hinder function if the porper surge protectors are not used. I experienced the interference, but fixed it quickly with a newer surge protector:-) Value: These are by far the best bang for the buck! There was no other player on the market that offered this many features at price and I researched for a while before making the choice to go with the NDX800's. Manufacturer Support: I haven't really experience the support end of the Numark NDX800's, other than the V28 updates for the DJ software control. The fact it was availible early was a plus:-) The Wow Factor: The set up look pleasing! The red & blue backlit buttons look just a tad bit basic, but the overall look is very nice! I do wish there was a color change button to add some different feel! Overall: As with any product like this, there is improvements! I hope to only need these! If the Numark NDX800's improve on this I'm all in!

Sound: I read some reviews where they said the sound quality was awful, i disagree, i think the sound is great and i use it without my sonic maximizer.From being a DJ for over 25 years one thing i depend on is sound quality.The only problem i have had with the sound on this machine was poorly burned cd's and poor quality downloads on thumb drives other than that it sounds superb. Feature: Did include all of the accessories needed to get started.Most useful feature usb thumb slot (sweet).Wish you could layer more than one effect at a time. Ease of Use: Very easy to use hands on that is. I do not use it as a software controller so i can't relate to that part of it. Quality: Seems to be pretty solid, has a good feel in weight. Value: Very well worth it. Manufacturer Support: They have always been helpful to me. The Wow Factor: Very well made and eye saavy. Overall: I think it will hold up just great but i feel buying a case is just plain common sense with any mechanical product.

Quality: I bumped it around a few times and haven't had any problems...I still would invest in a case or cover of some sort... Sound: The Numark NDX800 has great sound! When used with industry formatted CD's or the highest bitrate MP3(320kbps)all dj's should use, the sound is superb! These players perform as well as any Dj CD players on the market! Feature: The Numark NDX800's come packaged with Power cable,USB cable and RCA cords. The ablility use CD's, MP3's via USB thumb drives and high capacity self-powered Hard Drives and of course the ablillity to use Dj software without timecode disc.I now customize folders on the thumb drives and and not CD's and save I money without revamping my collection on CD everytime I do a gig. Ease of Use: The Numark NDX800's were easy to get familar with. The controls are placed in a simple and very accessible arrangement. There are some really cool features that allow you to get real creative and take beyond what the player actually can do. Quality: The quality of the Numark NDX800's is sturdy and durable. As with any Dj CD Player, a protective carry case should be use to prolong life and beauty! Value: You can beat a machine with this amount of feature, quality and support for $399.00 or less. I was able to get a fgood deal on my previous set and switch right over to the Numarks without any lag time. Manufacturer Support: The official Numark website has support section with firmware update (v028) and a colum to get questions answered. Very supportive! The Wow Factor: Everything feels nice! The finish is just the right amount of gloss and flat black finish on the platter is a great compliment! Overall: I'm very impressed with the Numark NDX800 and if the next version improves on this one I'll purchase it as well!

Sound: The sound is Superb! What more can I say, there is not a problem I can think of that you would'nt run into on any dj cd player as far as sound goes! If you use the corect bitrate and well recorded cd's there's no sound problems you should run into! Feature: The players came with all the cables and accessories needed to get started mixing!The USB and Software Control option are awesome! Even though the the units say you cannot use self-powered Hard Drives, THEY CAN! Ease of Use: All controls and sound manipulation are AWSOME! The controls are easy to use and allow some tight mixes! Quality: Well made! I checked out a lot of other players and the fact that players like these always need to be taken care of and handled with cases! Value: You gotta be crazy if you don't think these players are worth every cent! They are priced great and you would think Numark mis-priced the units when you see them in action! Manufacturer Support: No contact, no service needed so far! The Wow Factor: The Numarks are nice! I've had people look at my set up and say WOW!how much did you have to spend on those? It's always good to hear! Overall: These DJ CD Players are GOOD! No reason other than some new models with new features! I Like these!

Sound: For using a powered PA system the sound is great couldn't ask for anything more both in mono and stereo Feature: The features from the effects knob I like. Not to many cdj's give you that function. Since it didn't come with a manual bedsides the quick start guide I'm still learning the short cut keys. Ease of Use: Easy to use as a newbi. It's all layed out for ya unless you get into midi mode and want to mapp things your way. Then that's a hole another ball game. Quality: It's deffinetly not metal but for it being mostly plastic it's well built. I love the response on the touch sensitive jog wheel works great with scratching. That's one of the main reason I bought it for the touch sensitive jog since the rmx isn't at all Value: Yes it's worth the price but Dj gear can add up real quick wish it was more reasonable. Manufacturer Support: The only reason I say a 5 cause I haven't need any support that's how easy it is to use. The Wow Factor: The appearance is good looking I would be caught in public anytime with this and have no shame in my game. Overall: I will stick with this product as long as I can and they can fix the midi mode with VDJ for some reason the program wants to switch certain things. If this bug could get fixed soon it will would be an awsonme cdj for beginner to pro. And I'm using it together with an hercules rmx.

Sound: This unit has a lot of features. It seemed pretty easy getting the hang of it. I could'nt get the relay function to work. The track search seems to skip around for me. The effects sweeten up the sound. The sound quality overall is poor. I don't know if I should keep them or returned them because I got such a greatdeal. 2@ $513.00 out the door with a trade. Feature: Best feature is that is can read protable usb media in cluding IPod. Least useful feature is sound quality. Ease of Use: Sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. The lows aren't heavy and hitting. Way to much midrange. I tried adjusting eq by channel, thisdidn't help much Quality: Made ok. Good look feels smooth and strudy.

Feature: Plenty of features, none of them reliable though Ease of Use: They're easy enough to use in themselves, but they do not follow industry standards so it can be unnecessarily confusing. Controls behave differently when they are used as MIDI controllers. Quality: Cheap plastic construction. They don't exactly ooze quality. Value: You get a lot of features for your money, but you will also get a lot of reliability problems. A false economy... Manufacturer Support: Emailed the company repeatedly to sort out numerous issues, and they failed to respond to every one of my queries. Called their customer support line and their agent was very dismissive and couldn't even tell me if my emails had been received. The Wow Factor: Numark doesn't have a good reputation, and I felt a bit embarrassed to say I owned this product. I had hoped to prove people wrong by showing them that these units were actually quite decent, but Numark lived up to their poor reputation when the units crashed half a dozen times during a gig. Very embarrassing and very unprofessional. Overall: Absolutely terrible units! USB support is limited (wouldn't read my mate's USB stick properly, only picking up 5 of 30 tracks). MP3 CD support is too slow at reading the TOC (nearly 2 mins on mine!). BPM counter is very inaccurate, and takes ages to read (especially on breaks tunes). USB MIDI support is unreliable, especially if you switch between USB MIDI and CD. My units repeatedly lock up, and I had to take them back in the end as I could not rely on them. They caused my music to cut out 4 times in one night. Seriously, do yourselves a favour and AVOID THESE UNITS!

Sound: looks too close to a Stanton C324 to me, and if its anything like those then you'll be pulling your CD's out of the drive with needle nose pliers. I've owned the C324,and though they have great features they are not well built. These decks look like a close cousin to the Stants. Numark trys hard and means well, but I don't trust the brand. I've bought too many items from them that have failed on me, the quality standard is just not there. I would suggest saving up for some Pioneers or Denons.
