9 out of 10Feature:
I think the only way to improve this unit is to mount a gooseneck stud on the face, and the power switch should also be on the face. the location of the power switch makes rack mounting not a good choice. Complete with USB and power cables, it's easy to see the lables on the front of the panel and all the control sliders move easy and cleanly.
Quality:
If this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced, I will be using it 20 yrs. from now, and it comes packed very well. Box was slightly damaged upon arrival, but perfect packing protected it.
Value:
This mixer is priced much better than other units that cost much more. Excellent value! I WILL be purchasing another one as a back up.
Desirability:
Although I've never given electronics "sex appeal", more, practicality at the perfect price.
Sound:
This mixer by far sounds cleaner than the Numark it replaced. No hiss, humming or crackling.
Ease of Use:
Although I haven't use the usb features of this unit, learning the features is a breeze. The manual could be a little more discriptive, but the "trial and error" method takes minutes.
Overall:
No desire to search for a different brand, this one has everything I need for a DJ rig. As before, the location of the power switch is the only thing I could really find wrong, but the performance makes up for it. So much stuff packed into this small, yet lightweight unit makes it so close to perfect, this mixer is a bargain.
