9 out of 10Feature:
I wish it had a visual beat counter and maybe a light socket but the features it has work well and the faders are smooth.
Quality:
Very well made. I bought the case with it and have no complaints.
Value:
Good value for the price.
Desirability:
It works as advertised, and has been a great starting DJ addition to my elaborate karaoke setup. Looks impressive too.
Sound:
The sound is very good
Ease of Use:
I had never touched a mix before but had no problems working it. I bought it to use between karaoke songs. It has a playlist feature and a start fader feature so even though I'm not an experienced DJ, I have been able to do simple mixes and transitions easily.
Support:
So far I have not had to contact Numark.

5 out of 10Feature:
Has all the basic features you'll need. It would be nice if it had a connection for a light on the board, 'though. Looping and buffered anti shock work very well.
Quality:
Here's the problem. I've had two of these now, and had trouble with one of the CD's players on each unit after just about 200-250 hours of play. First one I sent back, they tried twice to fix it and couldn't, so they sent me a refurbished one even though first one was essentially brand new. The reburbised one lasted a year before the left CD went out. I had a cd mix 1 that worked great for years, so I don't know what the problem is with the mix 2.
Value:
Good unit for the price - if it lasts!
Sound:
Sound quality is good for the price.
Ease of Use:
Anyone with an IQ of 10 can work this.
Support:
Couldn't fix my problem after two tries. Very frustrating.

10 out of 10Feature:
Could use a few more features, but for the price its just fine
Quality:
No problems so far. Hope it stays that way :.)
Value:
Excellent
Desirability:
Its a good looking piece of equiptment
Sound:
The sound is among one of the best I have used for the price
Ease of Use:
anyone with half a brain could learn to use it very quickly
Support:
Everytime I have had to call in the past for other pieces of equiptment they have been very good
Overall:
Other than adding a few more feature ie. bpm counter.. its a great product

1 out of 10Feature:
No BPM counter. Everything else I want is on it. Looping works great.
Love the crossfader start option. Could use a mic mute button!
Quality:
The outer case looks pretty tough for regular handling. I don't use a case on mine. no damage yet but I'm Careful. I have had two of these and they aren't reliable. The #1 player stopped working mid gig on its THIRD show. The first one quit working after a few hours.
When it works it works great...when it doesn't it makes you want to pull your hair out. Plugged it in the day after it failed everything worked fine??
Value:
Its a great value if it was more reliable.
Desirability:
It would be great if it were reliable. Definately can't count on it to last all night.
Sound:
The sound is good. Whatever is on the cd is what comes out. Nothing more or less.
Support:
They suck. Told me they could fix it. No apologies (or suprise) when I described the problem. Even though player ahould still be under warranty I would have to pay because i don't have the original box!
Overall:
I'm already looking for a replacement. because of customer service "unfriendlyness" I have eliminated all Numark products from my equipment inventory.

9 out of 10Feature:
base and tremble knobs for each channel -- the best feature!!! would like to see mids and highs as well (right now they are only in main eq).
Anti-skip protection is really nice.
The fader slide is a little shaky.
Fader relay is nice, although i don't use it.
Beat-counter would be a nice addition too.
Quality:
Faders are a little shaky, not smooth.
I've had it for almost a year useing it every week for about 15-20 hours and nothing broke so far. The unit is very easy to move and i like that it is pretty compact in size.
Value:
The best for the price i paid, certainly! :)
Desirability:
The design could be a little better. It really has a "retro numark" look to it. Usebility wise it is really well designed. The only suggestion i have is to put main eq knobs closer to the channel's. Right now it's to far and if you want to adjust the main sound as you mix, your hand simple cannot reach it if you want to adjust channel's eq at the same time.
Overall:
I would get turn tables next but keep this unit as long as it's kicking for cd mixing :)
Have to say, people who into a lot of effects and scratching with CDs should not buy this product, as affects are pretty limited. Personally, i use looping once in a while and nothing else from the effects section.
