Sounds really nice....no issues or complaints.....control vinyl works just like the music is printed on the vinyl
Feature:
Duo came with six sound effects unlike the pro that has over 20...I rarely use the six so I am glad I didnt pay the extra $250.00 for the extra fx.
Ease of Use:
very easy to install....turntable and software install was up and running in less that 20 minutes.....once you realize how the installation works it takes less than 3 minutes to install wiring for gigs.

No need to contact support.....Note: ONCE YOU INSTALL THE SOFTWARE, GO TO THE NATIVE INSTRUMENTS WEBSITE AND DOWNLOAD EACH UPDATE/PATCH FOR TRACTOR SCRATCH DUO FROM FIRST TO LAST (UPDATE 1.1.2, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, and 1.2.4)....THIS WILL PREVENT FUTURE ISSUES LIKE POSSIBLE CRASHING.

Overall:
I was going to go with the Traktor Scratch Pro but after days of research I figured I only needed to buy the Scratch Duo since I only have two turntables and the Pro is for up to four decks (which i know will never use since i've only used two decks for the past 10+ years). Also, the Duo has only six sound effects while the pro has more than 20...but i've only used the sound effects once or twice, so I am glad I didnt pay for the extra fx that i know i wouldnt use that much. I dont have any plans on broadcasting live so thats another reason I figured I didnt need the pro and......Probly the only thing I wish the Duo had that the Pro has is the ability to record your set......but i figured an extra $250.00 wasnt worth it.......ive had the Duo for about a week and I am so glad I didnt pay the extra money for the Pro. If you only plan on using two turntables and no CD decks then I strongly recommend the Duo.....My opinion is that the Pro is better for CD decks like the Pioneer CDJ-2000s or if you plan on using both turntables and CD decks....But If all your using is turntables theres no need for the Pro.....The Duo is all I will ever need!!!
