Comes with everything you need right out of the box, no having to buy the expensive shock mount as its already in the box!

Sound:
Cant say enough good things about this mic, Sounds great , I use it all the time on everything from vocals to guitar and anything in between.

Lots of detail; has a "thick" sound in the lower mid-range -not objectionable; very well engineered; has its own character, this is not a "me too" mic; not too versatile but in the right application it does a great job. Get a very good preamp or you're wasting your time.

This mic is Very Sweet sounding! we recorded Female vocals for R&B tracks, and its clear, warm and present. You need Good Gates with this mic, it pics up EVERYTING..
