As a voice over pro I've learned that audio quality is only as good as the weakest link in your audio recording chain. You can spend thousands on gear, but if you skimp with a cheap shock mount or acoustics or anything, what's the point? I was using my Neumann TLM 103 with the standard hard mount. (I know, it's a head-scratcher that an $1200.00 mic doesn't come with a proper shock mount.) I spent the 120 +bucks for the Neumann brand, rather than a cheap universal mount with confidence that the fit is perfect. I have no low freq. vibrational issues with my mic stand.
