It's the right height even for someone with short legs. Works better than a chair. Rated to 240 lbs. I'm 265 and it has not collapsed. Slides easy on rug. Ordered the Blemished one. The package was totaled, but the bench was fine, only a pliers mark on one black bolt.

"Very Good Basic Bench"

I bought this bench to use with my old Yamaha piaggero NP-11 and it works great. Light enough to pack around and still very sturdy. The comfort is what you would expect with a basic bench however, it's not uncomfortable by any means.

If you want a piano bench, spend the money. The bench came in with missing screws, and the vinyl covering was ripped on each end. I did not send it back because it wasn't worth the trouble. No wonder the bench was so inexpensive.
