Bought these to outfit a full band and they're better than the cheap-o's I bought locally. Thicker, sturdier, with better mechanisms all around. The variety is perfect and I trust them to hold my mics. Optional counterweights would be nice for drum overheads but otherwise it's one stop shop. If you're getting started and have random, mismatched stands, do yourself a favor and set them aside for backups and get this pack. They get moved a round a lot, thrown in the car and set up again and so far no problems. They use rubber or maybe soft plastic washers that grip the rotating assembles so no crushing tubes. the legs have a soft position lock when opened. They get decently tall and reach out enough for normal drum setups and can hold pencil condensers no problem. I'm not sure about large diaphram for overheads tho. Might tip.But overwall would buy again, same brand, same tier. If you gig regularly I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised with these.

"Light but not flimsy, good stands for the price"

These stands are lightweight, I don't know if I would take them on a major tour but great for clubs and practice. Not cheap or flimsy look or feel. You will have to tape up a few rattles for studio use but I'd use them about anywhere.

I expect years of service from these.
Sound
N/A
Features
Fully adjustable - solid metal construction
Ease of Use
Easy assembly -about 1 min. each
Quality
I was surprised when they arrived at my studio - I paid twice this amount for similar quality and build at the big guitar store chain. They seem to be well made.
Value
Great Value! Perfect for a amall project studio like mine. I'm going to buy another set. Less than $20 each
Manufacturer Support
I don't think I'll need support - at this price I won't feel bad if I smash one - I'll just throw it away after stripping parts off of it.
