MOTU claims this unit is Windows XP ready. It is not. I have tried it on several XP machines. The software crashes on EVERY machine in the EXACT same way (Blue Screen of Death). If you look at their web-site, the last driver came out in September 2001 (as of Dec 22, 2001), which is over a MONTH BEFORE Windows XP came out. My conclusion? They assumed the NT/2000 driver and software would work flawlessly under XP. They were wrong. Sadly, the marketing machine is more important than the technical department. I should have known NOT to buy something from a Macintosh-oriented company. I'm exchanging it for a Midiman Midisport 8x8! Midiman comes out with updated drivers and software for all their products at least once per month.
