Using similar technology to the TSL100 and TSL122, the latest additions to the JCM2000 Series are the 60 Watt TSL60 head, TSL601 1x12 combo, and TSL602 2x12 combo. With 3 channels giving every bit as much flexibility as their higher powered brethren, the TSL60s use a pair of Svetlana EL34 power valves for that classic pure Marshall valve tone. 10 out of 10Feature:
If only there were separate eqs for crunc and lead, it would be perfect. It has to be said that with sounds this good, ir doesn't matter that much.
Quality:
Perhaps not up to Mesa standards, but a hell of a lot cheaper. I'm not a hairdresser, so the finish is fine for me.
Value:
As good as many amps costing twice the price and better than some as well
Desirability:
Black and gold, iconic.
Sound:
Great Marshall sounds. The clean channel is clean enough for a rock guitarist, the crunch channel is as good as it gets and the solo channel screams. This amp will ALWAYS cut through the mix live and with a 4x12 extension looks great as well
Ease of Use:
You can't get a bad sound from a Marshall.
Support:
Fantastic, have called them a few times and they can answer anything.
Overall:
There are a few good amps at around the £ 1000 mark at the moment, but you always end up trying to get a Marshall sound out of them. This costs a lot less and has a great classic rock sound. It will cover any gig.

This produces a great rich sound from heavy metal, blues, jazz, rock, and funk.
Support:
I have had it for a year no faults, so i have never needed to contact the company.
Overall:
I feel there is no need to buy anything else.

10 out of 10Feature:
Again, just teh lack of a seperate EQ for the crunch and Lead channels but in all honesty, it's not that big a deal. When cranked up, they all sound clear and loud!
Quality:
I can beat this thing with a hammer and it still kicks ass.
Value:
I bought this head for 300 quid off of a friend. Cant go wrong. The thing was still in warranty and he had only used it about 10 times. This meant the tubes were still hot as hell. Sounded great from day one.
Desirability:
Well, come on. It's an almost top of the range Marshall all valve. Need I say more?
Sound:
Only the seperate EQ would have added to this amp. It sounds dreamy with my Epiphone Les Paul, with Seymour pups. I tell ya. I am SOOOOO glad I bought this beauty. I run it via a 1936 Lead 2x12" cab. Enough bass and top end to keep it fat and clear.
Support:
I have called Marshall for various reasons and have always had brilliant support from the support teams. They are friendly and know what they are talking about :)
Overall:
This amp is a dream come true. I wanted this very amp since it came out and i played it in the shop a few years ago. Now I own it. Ahhhhhh.
