10 out of 10Feature:
It comes with a channel select and a DFX (digital effects) on/off footswitch. I has many different effects digitally created at Marshall's factory in England. It also has an independantly controlled reverb to give you that "stadium" effect. The FDD is amazing! It gives your amp that responsive feel of marshall stacks in a small combo amp.
Quality:
It's good and heavy; so, don't plan on carrying it around all day by yourself. It could take a beating, and keep on shredding. If for some reason it doesn't, there's a 5 year warranty to fall back on. In my experience, you'll never need it; but, it's there for you.
Value:
I bought mine for $400 bucks and it's worth every penny!
Desirability:
It's a marshall. Guys that don't even play through them use them as stage props because of how they look.
Sound:
This amp sounds amazing. I went from my Fender Frontman 15 with an Ibanez SM7 Smashbox distortion pedal, and I'm not looking back. First thing that I noticed was a lot deeper tone. The clean of this amp is just as good if not better than the bell like Fender clean tones. It's got so many controls that if you don't know what sound you're looking for, you could be totally lost. If you're a fan of rock/metal/grunge you'll definately love this amp.
Ease of Use:
This amp sounds good no matter where it's at, basement, on stage, or backstage. It's got so many different sounds that it can produce that you'll definately be able to adjust it to your specific style.
Support:
Marshall is one of the number one customer friendly companies that I've encountered. They're there to help you get exactly what you want out of the amp. If they've made an error, they fix it. No run around, no crap.
Overall:
This is my amp. I'm never going on tour, nor am I going to play Madison Square Garden. This amp will do everything that I need it to do. I can do my small part just fine without a backup amp and I've never heard any complaints, (except when my wife wants me to turn it down.)

I just got this amp last weekend used but it still sounds beautiful. the effects are so great and for the price its unbeatable

10 out of 10Feature:
The features are great, with onboard Digital effects. The FDD switch (Frequent Dependant Damping) mimics an all valve amp sound, which is good. however unlike the 100 watt version of the amp, it does not have OD1 & OD2 channels.
Quality:
Very good quility except for the adjusting knobs, that are slightly inperfect.
Value:
yep, the value is one of a kind!
Desirability:
This amp is so good looking, u may just want to go out with it!
Sound:
This amp oozes that typical Marshall sound, and the FDD switch adds to it's superb sound. The clean channel is betiful - as good as a fender's clean channel. The overdrive channel is also very good. I use this amp with a fender strat and the combo is great.
Ease of Use:
yes this amplifier is very easy to use!
Support:
Great support, as when we got it from the shop, the power adapter was not with it, so we rang up and they express posted it down, so it arrived the next day!
Overall:
this is a great combo amp from one of the most respected amp makers. it is just great value!

10 out of 10Feature:
The effects are kinda cheesy sounding, especially the Reverb, which is very bright. But I found out if you turn it down all the way,it's not bad.I use a DigitechRP50 anyway,so the built in effects aren't really important anyway.
Quality:
I've read where people complain that they can hear the fan.I don't seem to notice it,and if so,that's not a bad thing. If it bothers ya'TURN IT UP!!!!!This is just like anything that you own,if you take care of it,it'll take care of you.Case closed.
Value:
For the money,I don,t see any other amp out there that could keep up with this combo.
Sound:
I would've given this a 10 if it wasn't for the distortion'which to me'sounds a little bit muddy. The clean channel though, that,s where the beauty of this amp comes in.And LOUD? hell yeah it is,and that's the way it should be.This is a Marshall we're talking about here!
Ease of Use:
No problem at all.A 6 yr old could master this in a matter of seconds.
Support:
I haven't had to contact them at all.

5 out of 10Feature:
The pedal is good. The effects are really pretty good in all for what I spent.
Quality:
No problems or faults.
Value:
The equivalent Vox amp needs to be looked at closely to make a good buying decision.
Desirability:
Already have it.
Sound:
This amp is great for home use and performances in a small venue. It combines well with effects pedals like Jekyll and Hyde and Cry baby.
A tube amp will sound better and will likely cost more money.
Ease of Use:
No problem to get going withy this amp.
Support:
No warranty issues-the amp has performed perfectly for 18 months.
Whenever I have sent emails with questions to Marshall they have been ignored-hence the 5!
Overall:
There have been no mishaps with this product. It is perfect for home use.

9 out of 10Feature:
Very nice look, controls are easy to use. I wish there was a footswitch control for the reverb, it's always on or always off unless you set it at the amp.
Quality:
Semms to be holding up well, I've had it for 6 months.
Value:
Great amp for the money.
Desirability:
Lokks great, sounds great, easy to transport. I would suggest an amp stand for it.
Sound:
Seems to be lacking a bit in the bass tones. The effects are kind of weak in the overdrive channel, but still usable.
Ease of Use:
You'll figure it out.
Support:
Not needed yet.
Overall:
Other than the weak effects and lack of reverb switch, it's pretty much all I need right now. There is a lot of reverb, over 5 is too much.

10 out of 10Feature:
The effects are useless and should never have been included. sure you can create some decent sounds with the effects but in the long run you are better off with seperate pedals that give you more control over your desired sound. However, The digital reverb is excellent.
Quality:
Never had a problem in the years I've had it. It looks great and it withstands traveling and extensive gigging and still manages to look brand new.
Value:
Fair price but they should get rid of the multi-effects and lower the price some more..
Desirability:
They could make it a bit sexier..
Sound:
This amp has given me amazing tone live and on recordings. The reverb is great and the distortion is really nice but a little to dirty. This amp is great for practice but is not loud enough for live shows.
Ease of Use:
If you can't figure this amp out you probably shouldn't be playing guitar.
Support:
Never had a problem that I needed fixed.
Overall:
Just doesn't cut it live...not loud enough...

Quality:

Value:
booooo...after one year..GONE
Sound:
you can get almost any kind of sound from this amp...from Van Halen to AC/DC and zeppelin....
^^which is what i prefer...never really had needing for the effects..looked good though..keep contour at about five to six for good marshall vintage tone..and bass all the way upp...gain at three or four = classic rock all the wayy
Support:

5 out of 10Feature:
Effects sound great for various music but have to play the DFX volume switch at high numbers to get the true effect out.
Quality:
I received my amp in perfect condition and seems to be very well built. No problems
Value:
For the sound and quality, seems reasonable for the buck.
Sound:
Marshall amps likes to be driven. The sound comes out with a bang and sounds better when you push this amp.
Support:
Haven't had to deal with this yet and hope not to. Marshall builds good quality amps, and hope to play for years without needing support.
Overall:
Hope to own this amp for many years. The only drawback is the fan is quite noisy. But over all very pleased. PS: Add a Marshall Bluesbreaker II footswitch to this amp and then whatch it come alive.

10 out of 10Feature:
The effects built in are nice, the footswitch is good quality. I wish it had more effects built in, but the features it does have are mighty sweet, indeed!
Quality:
No argument, Marshall makes one of the highest quality amps available today. Built like a tank and will last forever, if properly cared for.
Value:
Again, if aggressive rock is your forte, you'll love this amp!
Desirability:
A long while back this would have been a 10, but it's still fairly sexy.
Sound:
I anxiously awaited my mg50dfx to arrive hoping i'd be able to get a wide range of sounds, not just that characteristic raunchy sound, and frankly i was a little disappointed with it's lack of ability to produce good clean sounds, but with punch (like old tube Fenders). If classic or hard rock is all you play, you'll be well satisfied. I'm now considering a line 6 modeling amp.
Support:
Haven't had to use it, so that makes support a "10" :)
Overall:
The only thing I wish I had done is tried to find one at a local store before I bought it. If I had compared the Marshall with a line 6 side by side, I probably would have bought the line 6, even though they are pricier. This is *still* a fine amp and a good value for the money.

10 out of 10Feature:
this amp comes with alot of features its a bit confusing but they all r good the it provides you with chorus/delay, delay, chorus, flg. letting you change the sound for hard rock (like guns n roses!) theres also reverb it also comes with a 2 button footswitch for affects and channel
Quality:
it seems to be made well the finsh is beautiful but then again all marshalls are beautiful ive only had it for about a day so i dont know exactly how well it will hold up
Value:
this was a steal of a price i believe this amp can be used for practice or for small stage performances id say its great for intermiadte players looking to upgrade to a marshall amp (like myself)
Desirability:
its a very sexy amp i love the look of any marshall honestly
Sound:
the sound is nice on the clean channel it has a nice crisp sound nice and easy on the ears but it can also be fearce when u put it in over drive letting you play your favorite hard rock/metal riffs
Support:
ive heard marshall service is very well have not had to use it yet but it does come with a five year limited warrenty
Overall:
ill probably keep it around for 5 to 10 years but ill probably look to get a bigger amp in the next 1-3 years dunno yet honestly
