Feature:
no real features, just one input jack.. kinda awkward..
Quality:
it is really strong, its kinda ugly i think though, it looks kindof like "Rhino liner" and there is no metal on the whole thing.
Value:
really its worth around 200 dollars, the mgs aren't even made in america i don't believe, i think they are assembled in some malaysian sweatshop. However, it really isn't bad for the price. It is probably pretty good for the price, but i suggest spending the extra money, if you are a serious guitarist, to buy a more serious product.
Desirability:
its a marshall... so that is sexy... but the name is all that makes it sexy, it really looks pretty cheap, what with black plastic, black tolex, and black grill, it just looks very minimal, and sounds about the same.
Sound:
its not very dynamic, i played lots of different stuff through it and it just seemed like it couldn't get as quiet or as loud as i wanted it too.
Ease of Use:
well... its a cab
Support:
marshall is a great company and dealing with them is not too much of a hassle.
Overall:
I owned it for three years but recently traded it in for a vintage ampeg "reverbrocket" cab from the sixties and seventies. I compared the two cabs sound side by side before making my trade and while the ampeg had warm bass and bell like treble, the marshall sounded extremely flat. The ampeg was also more responsive to dynamics, i.e. soft picking was quiet and hard strumming got very loud but never could peak out, and bridge strumming sounded distant while neck strumming sounded buttery. You really do just get what you pay for with cabs, the mg cab is cheap and sounds like it.
