Feature:
Marshall failed a little here. A book with an intro from Jim in several languages! A Zakk setting suggestion sheet.....with a total of 4 presets! WOW!!!! The supplied cables are a little thin, I recommend heavier cables.
Quality:
It may have the Marshall name; however, it is just cheap plastic. On the plus side it is a lot lighter that a well constructed amp!
Value:
For the price you cannot beat this. It has monster sounds that I havent been able to find in combos or stack 2-3 times the price and size. I will not be taking this thing on stage anytime soon, but for in the studio or just banging around in the garage, this thing absolutly rings your ears!
Desirability:
I think the new will wear off soon for me, but anyone who sees it is instantly impressed with the design and the Zakk bullseyes. Plus it says MARSHALL all over it!!!!!
Sound:
What can I say except wow. Pulled this thing out of the box, plugged it in and rocked. It sounds like an amp twice its size. After playing with the controls a little I was able to create amazing AC/DC sounds and a Black Sabbath feel that Ozzy himself would be proud of. Although it seems like I cannot get the low end to fall off(thus resulting in highs that seem less bright) it is still a great sound.
Ease of Use:
Plug it in and play! The only trouble I have is I use a mulit-effects pedal and some of my effects are overpowered by the amps settings (even on clean).
Support:
I am just guessing here. Never used them, but you don't make the best amps without having good support.
Overall:
I will play this thing into the ground. If it tears up I will fix it. If unfixable, I will replace it. This isn't my performace amp, but I still play the crap out of it(so much easier that lugging around my two full stacks).
