Feature:
The only thing this was missing was an acoustic simulator channel which is on the AVT275 so I guess I shouldn't really complain. the separate EQ's for clean and overdrive channel was nice but it would have been better if they had a separate EQ for each o/d channel. I just set the EQ where I want it and scoop one of the channels. I play a friend's Peavey classic 50 and even being a hybrid this outguns the Peavey. I think using a tube for just the preamp was genius.

Quality:
i haven't really abused this amp yet but it looks pretty solid. This is my first marshall but from what hear, all Marshalls are pretty rugged. I actually got this 'B' stock but I checked it over and you couldn't tell.

Value:
This was a 'B' stock but it was practically new. Even if I'd bought it for the regular price I would have been happy.

Sound:
This thing sounds awesome. The two overdrive channels can sound smooth or raunchy it's up to you. I like blues and metal and this amp covers more than enough ground for both musical styles. you really won't need pedals with this amp because this is what most pedals TRY to sound like. The DFX are very nice for being amp FX. Their not the greatest but they suffice.

Overall:
This is a great amp. if your looking for something solid under $700 this is the way to go. Some complain that it's not an all tube amp but I think it still responds to your playing very nicely. I'd take this over The all tube Peavey classic 50 in a heartbeat.

Marshall has been around for along time and they have perfected their amps. Playing through this amazing amp with the 16 diferent digi fx's is amazing. The sound, the crunch of the overdrive, it allows you to set YOUR sound to how YOU like it.I recommend this amp HIGHLY to anyone!!!

This amp rips! I just got it 2 days ago and wow...! I'll be waking some people up with this thing, for sure! ;-) I haven't played or been into it for a few... just getting back and was going to get a Metal Zone distortion pedal, but I really don't need it with this amp!

i got this amp yesterday and it's amazing!all teh channels are so warm and the effects are great, very good quality, even with effect and overdrive on, each signail is still perfectly audible.i've heard no muffled sounds at all, it's damn easy to use too!the scoop switches take distortion to a whole new level :)i'm having so much fun with mine and it's totally gig read.i would highly reccomend this amp and it's quiet affordable.i'm off to play with mine now, heehee(",)

This amp is much better sounding than its predecessors, the VS100R, or the VS102R, which I own. The clean and OD1 channels rich and warm, much more so than the VS102R. I couldn't beleive that it wasen't an all tube amp. While testing out Gibson SG's, I pluged in a '61 Reissue with the OD1 channel on, played a few riffs from "High Way To Hell", "You Shook Me All Night Long" and "Shot Down in Falmes" and I was sold on it. I bought the guitar, should have got the amp too, mabey later.
I have little use for the OD2 or the onboard effects, though I found the effects to be of a very good quality. It appears that Marshall has out classed themselves on this one. Making me wish my VS102R woud would turn into a AVT100.

though the clean channel has good responce to the touch, the overdrive ones lack personality.not very versatile overdrive sounds.also the overdrive channes are not as loud as the clean one.the clean channel is the best thing this amp has.also the reverbs are fake!!!to conclude,if who want a valve sound go for a real one.hybrids are bad immitators.good transistor amp though.

Feature:
Good features, still a moot point because the amp died after 1 year

Quality:
It could not withstand one year of local shows, I recommend that noone buy a crappy PCB new Marshall if its going to leave the bedroom

Value:
$700 for 1 year? Jeez, I can't afford to buy a new $700 amp each year...

Desirability:
Well it says Marshall....

Sound:
Lifeless, but a moot point since the amp died anyhow after 1 year

Support:
no dealings, but I bet they wouldn't replace or fix it if I asked....

Overall:
I would not be satisfied unless Marshall replaced it free of cost
