The DXM looks like almost any other acoustic guitar. But the similarity stops there. It has a beautiful tone, great projection, and subtle but strong resonance. Learn More...

8 out of 10Feature:
Best feature - the price. Best sub-1000 guitar I've played.
Quality:
A Martin. I punched two accidental holes in the body during travel and it held up well - still sounded good, too.
Value:
If you want your first "decent" acoustic to sound great day in and day out, this is the one to buy. Holds tuning forever and makes you sound subtle every time you play it.
Sound:
This has a full bodied sound with well constructed nature (now extraneous noises right off the showroom floor). For power strumming or finger picking, an open mic loves this guitar.
Overall:
When this one finally bites the dust, I'll buy another one.

10 out of 10Feature:
Comes with strings....what more do you want?
Quality:
Flawless.....not the prettyest guitar made, but made well.
Value:
This is the best you can get for the money. I've gone to the store 3 times with $1700 in pocket and I can't replace it for that. By the time I find a guitar I like more I'm in the $2200 range.
Desirability:
Like I said it's not a pretty guitar, but I makes a beautiful sound.
Sound:
Sounds very good for the money. Dont let the HPL fool you.
Support:
Dont really know, haven't needed it. Good website though.
Overall:
I only wish it had a pickup. I'm thinking about having one installed.

10 out of 10Feature:
I bought mine new but damaged so I didn't even get a case with it.
Quality:
Even though its primarily made of laminates, they are quality high-pressure laminates that look great and sound wonderful. The only drawback to the looks is the back of the neck. Maybe some dark stain?
Value:
At the going rate of $449, it would be hard to find a better deal on a new guitar.
Desirability:
This is a pretty standard looking axe i.e. its not sexy like my Taylor 714CE but, hey, the Taylor sells for 5 times the price!
Sound:
Great bass and highs but a little flat in the mids. Overall tone is well above average
Support:
Have never dealt with Martin but one of our band members has a 70's D35 which he had the action reset on. Martin did a great job quickly and at a reasonable price.
Overall:
I really like this guitar since its such a good deal for the price. If I like a guitar, I'll have it for a long time. I bought this one over Tacoma, Takamine, and Alvarez because it sounds better than the Tacoma and Alvarez and plays better than the Takamine. All were more expensive than the Martin.

10 out of 10Feature:
it's fine.
Quality:
3 years and still in great shape adn I play hard.
Sound:
It sounds better than any other guitar in it's price range. You'd have to spend atleast 600-700 to get anything close to the sound you get with this guitar with any other brand. I've had it for 3 years and it still sounds great.
Support:
I hear good things.. i've never needed support.
