Fantastic sound....deep, rich, complex with plenty of chime. Best sounding 12 string less than $1500 you will find. It may be made in Mexico but it was designed by Martin and they know how to design guitars with tone. If you have any doubts just youtube and listen for yourself. The fishman sonitone system sounds great direct into a PA too. I did spend an hour setting it up to my preferences but I do that on all my guitars.

This guitar plays and sounds great considering it's not a very expensive Martin. It is made in Mexico and some people are put off by that and the fact that part of the body is a high pressure laminate. The bottom line though, is it sounds very good and is fairly easy to play action wise. The Pickup/Eq is very simple,effective and fairly hidden inside the soundhole. You might not even know it had one at first glance.In fact when I first played one in the store I didn't know it had a pickup and eq. I did take it to a Luthier and for $30 he took down the bridge a bit because I like the action as low as possible. I am very pleased with this guitar and with the 4 easy payment plan you just can't beat it anywhere in this price range.

I have had so many acoustic 12vers in my life-I like this better than the Leo Kotke 12 string I paid $2000 for PLAYS GREAT ALWAYS STAYS IN TUNE NO AGRA WITH Tuning AT ALLSOUNDS GREAT!!!
