Quality:
All I know is that these strings work. I have not experienced any breaking. They stay in tune, and they sound decent.

Value:
Unbelievable value! Considering all of the other strings available for $5-$15 per set, these strings kick butt! If I were using a high end guitar for recording, I would certainly use a high end coated string, but for practicing, these can't be beat!

Sound:
I currently have a low end student guitar (classical). When I put these strings on, they play well. They stay in tune well (after a few days have passed and they stretch).

Overall:
I was't sure how these would work out. But I am very satisfied and will continue to have one or two sets on hand, and continue to learn and practice with these strings.
