Feature:
Limited to light and medium gauge strings. Not the highest end tuners, but I've had no issues in 10 yrs and I'm not a stickler for special care. Bought it with a good Martin hardshell case and have traveled the world with it without damage.
Quality:
Sweet satin finish, seems to age well. After 10 yrs, still easy action. Tortoiseshell pick guard has protected the top well.
Value:
Rave reviews if you look online and I would add mine to that. I'd buy another, except they've discontinued the model.
Desirability:
The sound is superb, especially for a solo artist. Sure, I'd love a Taylor or even a more expensive Martin, but for the money, this is awesome and I'd buy it again.
Sound:
The tone of this relatively inexpensive Martin Dreadnought is amazing. I've owned mine for 10 yrs and absolutely love it. Easy action, stays in tune. It's designed for light and medium gauge strings, just fyi. Works well if you like to tune lower and use a capo. Works well with your basic soundhole pickup for amplification. No buzz, smooth action, easy on the fingers... and ears.
Support:
Haven't needed to have customer support so I guess that says A LOT. I suspect Martin would stand behind it well... however, the model IS discontinued, not sure why. It gets rave reviews.
Overall:
I'd have to buy used to replace it, so I would, but I don't expect to have to replace it. I'd still be looking at Martin or Taylor and dreadnoughts with satin finishes if I did.
