10 out of 10Feature:
Do you like listening to studio monitors? With three transducers, there aren't going to be too many better products out there. These are far better than units made by Shure.
Quality:
They look expensive and sound like studio monitors. They have replacable cords which other brands do not have. The fit could be better. My band is looking into having a hearing aid company fitting each of us to keep them from falling out of our ears. But, I think this would be a problem encountered by any person wearing ear buds.
Value:
Worth every penny! Why would you buy a speaker cabinet or monitor, amplifier, eq, etc., when you can get this sound for this price?
Desirability:
If I ever lost my IE-40s, I would buy them again.
Sound:
I use the IE-40s in a variety band. I was reluctant to go from a monitor. Now, I can't imagine using a floor monitor! I've used these with an ipod. I've heard sounds on a recording that I have never heard before!
Ease of Use:
Plug them in and listen! If I have any complaint about using them, I have trouble determining which ear to put them into! They should have color-coded right and left ear.
Support:
No experience with the company. With this kind of product and its quality, I don't think that I will need to for a while.
