Feature:
the acoustic space controls work great. took me only a minute to understand and get them to fit my needs.

Quality:
havent had any problems yet and hope not to.

Value:
i think these are well worth the money. for real, these things are dope.

Desirability:
these are pretty sleek lookin, and i like the little blue LED light on the front. very professional. a fine addition to my studio.

Sound:
the sound is excellent! Far more intense than what i expected for $300. I've been hearing other people talk about these not delivering enough bass, but that must just depend on the size of ones studio. mine for instance is only 6X9, and these babies rock! Good thing my room is totally soundproof, or my son would definately be up all night!

Support:
no need yet.

Overall:
these are the first studio monitors i have ever bought, but believe me, i've done about four or five months of shoppin around in stores listening to different brands, reading up on the web, reviews, ect...these were my only choice, then again, remember...my studio is only 6X9.

I have had these monitors for 2 days and straight out of the box they have impressed me and for me the bass is not the best but if you put the monitors near a wall it becomes a little better. overall sound is superb for 300 bucks!

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
the controls seem to be more hype than good. i haven't heard a difference. low cut can be good if you want to emulate the sound of a cheaper smaller speaker.

Quality:
Very good contruction. Great voltage supply switch for moving musicians. I am in Germany but come from the USA , this idea was class, now I can move with my equipment as opposed to selling it.

Value:
I give this a seven only because zzounds has an incredible price on the m1 active alesis boxes.

Desirability:
Very sexy due to the small design and functionality. I am not hot on the studiophile writing on top or the m-audio logo, but those are things you have to live with

Sound:
What do you expect from a low priced, small speaker?? that answers your question. lows need boosting by an external eq. or else you won't notice them. the highs are clean and present.

Support:
not sure yet, but i am convinced that m-audio has good support

Overall:
Well, I bought this because I had no other option. In Germany things are far more expensive than in the USA. Space was an issue too. The monitors for about $100 more are much bigger, ie M1 active/ behringer truth. So if space is a concern these are right, without shelling out $1000 for a pair of genelec's. I haven't heard Behringer Truth yet, but I know and have mixed with the Alesis M1 active and they are a far better buy for the money, and at such a low price you cannot go wrong.

Feature:
The Acoustic Space control lets to set the monitors up for your room. High range and presence controls give you the ability to compensate for reflections.

Quality:
I have not had them a long time, but no problems with the quality. they feel very solid

Value:
at $299 a pair, they very affordable for the home studio

Desirability:
It was the combination of the price and the quality that sold me (Ok it was because my wife put me on a budget that I started lookng in this direction)

Sound:
Out of the box these monitors leave a little to be desired at the low end, but with the ability to tweek the monitor to your room it makes them very sweet.

Support:
never used it

Overall:
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. Prior to this I was using a power amp and some bose speakers to master. As soon as I connected these, the Mastering process because so much easier.

Feature:
Good power, solid IEC sockets, balanced connections. Good solid stuff. The amp uses a solid toroidal transformer to get the juice to the transistors...very nice.

Quality:
Seems like everything was fairly well put together and the cabinets were solid.

Value:
Very good, comparable to others in it's price range like the Alesis stuff.

Sound:
Good dynamics for a pair of 5" mids. I have these connected via the balanced connection to an E-MU 1212M and it sounds fantastic. Nice work M-Audio

Support:
N/A

Overall:
I may upgrade the drivers if I can get the specs on the factory units. Otherwise, they'll be with me for a few more years.
