Feature:
It did include hardware, but I changed it to my favourite gear. Not that it's bad stuff but it was not as responsive as that which i am used to.

Quality:
The drums are made very well. They are durable and the colours finish is excellent. I actually can't think of anything negative except that the hardware although great for a beginner, is a bit inferior for advanced musicians.

Value:
The kit is way under priced for what you get. Pick one up before they realize what they've produced!

Desirability:
I think that the appeal goes beyond all of the above mentioned attributes in that because of the kit's sheer size, it makes the drummer playing them much more visible to the audience than with other drum sets. It's very nice to be seen especially when you have stage presence - if you don't you'll soon learn to develop some!

Sound:
For the size of this kit, the sound is un-equalled. The quality of sound it produces is that of a full sized set costing at least twice the price. In fact I would go as far as to say that these drums sing better than some of the more expensive higher end kits. I had to learn how to tune them to achieve the sound I have been playing with for the past ten years, but once I got it - that was it! Not only does it sound great, but it's small size makes it easy and fun to gig anywhere and set up/breakdown is a breeze. I also used it on my last recording gig and it sounded friggin' great! I have never been happier with any other kit I've owned or played. You don't even have to muffle the toms - especially live they stand on their own. I just threw on my favourite hardware, changed the heads and away I went. If you purchase these drums be aware - being that the bass drum is so small, you will NOT need as much muffling as you would in like a 22" drum. A pillow is way too much and you'll just get frustrated trying to tune it that way. The only way I found to get that kickin' thump with a crisp attack is to use an 18" floor tom head on the beater side, tune it fairly tight up front and fairly loose in the back. Stuff it with a small blanket and keep it close to the inside of the beater head. Your bass drum will sound thunderous. You'll dig it!

Overall:
I believe this may very well be the last accoustic drum kit I buy. I am completely satisfied with it.

Feature:
I didn't get any hardware ( used my existing stuff) but the tom mount is nice. The bass drum spurs are a little noisy when you set them up, but who cares?

Quality:
The wrap looks a little... generic, but they've got to keep costs down somewhere. I've had no problems with it.

Sound:
This is just an amazing little set. I've used it on very quiet jazz gigs (acoustic flute & guitar) on outdoor festivls with a prog-rock band, and in blues clubs. For the louder gigs, I set it up with Remo Pinstripes on the toms and bass, and swapped out the snare for a beefy Rogers Dynasonic. For the jazz stuff I put coated Ambassadors on the toms and an Emperor on the bass drum. No muffling on anything. ON the quiet gigs I tuned the drums as low as they can go and get to use all sorts of pitch bends and artifacts. Very cool acoustically. The weakest spot is the snare throw-off. The drum sounds prety good once you get rid of the factory heads, (They're useless, top and bottom, the the throw-off is where Mapex really cheaped out.I usually use a full size snare. I put a Fiberskyn on the 12" drum though and it sounds pretty good. Overall, if you need a small footprint and unless you can drop 3G on a DW set, this this the way to go.

Ease of Use:
This set tunes up great! THe shells sre round, the lugs are good. No problems

Overall:
I'm keeping this until I get enough money for a DW jazz set. THAT'S gonna be awhile.

everything you need to get started but cymbals! Finish is nice, sounds like a more expensive kit. The only problem is that I have a rack system. The included tom arm does not fit my brand of rack(read Pearl).

Big things come in small packages and this small set packs a big punch. For the money, and with it's relavtively small footprint, I've yet to hear the tone quality be matched or surpassed. The 18" bass is deceptive in the volume it achieves. The "petite" toms are well matched and offer good attack and tone depth for jazz or rock players. Overall, with the hardware; whether space is limited or not, this kit is a great investment.

Feature:
The accessories.....are geard more for beginners. But its great for the first date. When you get it home all alone-just you and this cute little drum set. The only thing that I wish I had is the expanded version. YESSSS!!! There is a double kick version with 5 toms.

Quality:
It is made well, however the braces could be a little stronger. But for the price I cant complain.

Desirability:
I didn't have quite enough money to get what I wanted when I was on the market for a set, and I saw this little drum set out in the middle of the floor. I was very curious because of its size, and color quality ( I have the burgandy one)Once I played it, I was hooked.

Sound:
The kit has excellent overall tone. Please believe me. I use Evans Genera G2 Coated heads (the white ones) on all three toms and especially the snare. I take snare evry where I go, and I always get compliments on the sound, the crack, and response that I can get from just a standard snare. The snare and skins are usually the first things to go. When I get a chance to bring the whole kit, I get even more compliments. It looks like a kids set, but dont let the size fool you. It looks and sounds great. You just have to know proper tuning techniques. When tuning, make the tuning rods just finger tight. Then with your hand or knee depress the center of the skin so that you get a good stretch, and the glue gets seated around the edge of the drum. Not too rough gradually stretch ( like anything, it works better once its worn in) Do it to both sides. Then tighten the tuning rods as if it were a wheel. Going diagonal and then to the left until you get a rich tone out of the skin. Your going to have to find your own way to tune the kick. I use a Remo Weather King Emperor Head with sound proofing foam around the inside with a few pieces duck taped to the inside of the kick witha sound hole in the front. I play a variety of styles and this set up sounds great in all. Recording and live. Plus its portable. (Until you start adding your own cymbals and hardware)You'll fall in love with this Lil' o thing.

Overall:
For its size and price its an excellent deal. You would make no mistake in buying this.
