Feature:
I Love the ISO mounts on the Tom it is rare you get this feature at this price

Quality:
Great sound, great look and always get other drummers coming up at a show asking what type of drums I'm playing.

Value:
I would buy again but this time maybe the pro series, only better drum in my mind would be DW but who can afford it?

Sound:
I've had my Kit for 4 years and it rocks still today. I play out 4 days every week, it really holds up and rarely do I have to tuen it.

I've played on Tama, Yamaha, Pearl, and Ludwig. The Mapex is the best sounding out of all of these for the price. The bass has a lot of punch to it and the os cymbal stands don't dampen your cymbals like other name brands do. These drums are good for any professional drummer who play all types of music.

overall great sounding drums. Many good features, very good finish, and bang for your buck. Only downsides are the kick hoops arent finished and the brackets for mounting the toms onto the the tom rack can be a pain to tension and untention(if thats a word lol). Floor toom is hard to get sounding vibrant but i solved that by fitting it in to a rack and by using coated emporer heads. Overall I love my kit!

After comparing Pearl Export, Yamaha Stage Custom, Tama Rocker, Pacific, Sonor 2001 and every other kit in this price range, I can tell you that NOTHING looks as good AND SOUNDS AS GOOD as this Mapex M series dollar per dollar spent. Eat your heart out Pearl!
