"Rugged with One Design Flaw"

These are well-built bags that effectively protect my Mackie speakers. My only complaint is the design of the bag. The bags are designed to stow with the speaker resting on its grill. The bottom of the bag has extra padding, but there's concern about the condition over time. I compensate by resting the speakers on end or stone of the sides.

"Not fond of these bags"

This style of bag literally puts the grill on the bottom of the bag. Unlike the bag that the SRM-450 goes into, this bag is not designed to completely shield the cabinet from the riggers of moving them from place to place. Mackie should redesign the bags for the THUMP so that it protects the grill as well as the amplifier module.

A very long time
Sound
I baught these speakers too be used mainly outside. I have a blow up movie screen that I set up in my front yard and take camping. When camping I also use these speakers too plug in my Ipod and play music. They are great, all my friends comented on how great they sound. They are easy to set up and powerfull enough to rock the campgrounds. When we set them up for movies it is like being at the drivin.
