I ordered this product to dj an outdoor wedding by a waterfall. It worked flawlessly!! The interconnect with my cell phone/pad allowed me to have full control without being in the limelight. I highly recommend the stand adapter and lion battery pack. I also used it for an indoor guitar/ mic gig where I only needed a small P.A. Again it worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this product to use as a personal P.A./ monitor or just a tailgating boom box. Thank you Mackie, you have amazed again.

This unit kicks out great sound, is compact, and can its rechargeable battery life is very solid (although I haven't used it that often to know how long the rechargeable lasts over time). Highly recommend! Paying the extra money for this (compare to Alesis Transactive) is well worth it. Could use a USB/phone charger and RCA input however.

I have two large DJ rigs and bought this for use at wedding ceremonies alone. It's at great product right out of the box but, getting the app is a must for maximum performance. I can see using it for alot more than ceremonies now. This thing puts out for a small plug and play unit!! I would assume the bad reviews were because the app wasn't used.

I received mine in August , it is intended for busking performance, not for loud ear shattering noisy music, I use it along with backing tracks, people like the sound, because I know how to use this portable pa , I would recommend this to any street performer.

Great solid unit. Perfect device for presentations and small crowds enjoying music. Not recommend for live performance. I purchased 3 units. Each one was returned due to a faulty electronic crossover. When you reach 75 to 100 percent volume the unit distorts. Once this happen you have to reset and start over. When Mackie solve this problem I'll purchase another one.

I bought this for wedding ceremonies on the beach away from power and using iTunes. The first use I tested the Bluetooth and connected right away but not near enough volume. I used 1/8 to 2 1/4 " cord plugged into both mic inputs and the volume was awesome (but negated me using lavalier mic) Great little unit but as with another post RCA and USB inputs would really help

I found the Free Play not the wow product I expected. The overall volume is low, and I had problems getting mics dialed in. When you get passed 75% max power, you start getting distortion. Sending mine back for something with more "top end".

This unit works all right, even the blue tooth connection was pretty easy to connect. However, I was disappointed with the volume. I bought it to take on a tour bus to entertain the passengers while traveling. We couldn't get the volume to turn up enough to hear the music and vocals to the back of the bus.
