Mackie C300z Compact Passive 2-Way Loudspeaker (1x12 in.)

Designed for optimum performance with Mackie powered mixers and power amps, the C300z is a passive version of Mackie's popular SRM450 portable active loudspeaker. The C300z, an updated version of the current Mackie C300, features an injection-molded composite chassis that is rigid enough to prevent unwanted vibrations and standing waves inside the cabinet, but light enough to keep any touring musician out of traction well into their 70s. Sound:
I use the mackie c300 for dj/kj shows. It's a little to heavy (51 lbs) I do about 5 set ups and 5 break downs a week and if this speaker was 8 pounds lighter it would help. using a cart really makes no difference (loding and unloading the cart) the sound quality is wonderful. the 12 inch speakers give me all the bass I need. I would buy it again. I love that it takes speakon and 1/4 inch inputs. Wich came as a suprise because it is'nt listed as a feature.
