Sound: It just arrived a few hours ago, and I am in the process of assembly and tuning. The sound is exactly what I was looking for. I play in several bands; some jazz, classic rock and blues. It's perfect for any genre. I will be ordering the zildjian custom A pack, and hardware shortly. Feature: It's been several years since I've played Ludwig brand. I really like the innovations. The rubber inserts for the bass drum screws really save on the wear and tear of the wood rim. I love the suspension mounting system. The rubber pad on the inside bass drum rim is a great addition to keep the drum pedal tightening mechanism for damaging the rim itself. Ease of Use: The kit came semi-tuned with a few tweaks needed. I got the black fade kit and it looks and sounds awesome. Quality: This kit arrived in perfect condition. All parts and accesories intact. I chose this kit because it will probably be the last I own. After 45 years of drumming (I'm 53 now), I figured I would get the best that I could afford. This kit gives you more than it's monies worth. I couldn't be happier. Value: I find this kit to be high value for a midrange kit. Manufacturer Support: I've owned Ludwigs in the past and found them to be always dependable. The Wow Factor: The black fade is gorgeous. It actually is a very fine blue stain that darkens toward the edges. The black hardware gives a very striking effect. Very "sexy" from a visual perspective. Overall: I plan to make this my last kit, after owning 10 others in the past. I did a lot of research over the past 2 months reading various reviews and visiting local music stores. Pound for pound, this kit is a bargain. The pricing and ease of financing with Zzounds was one factor in my decision. The quality was another. If anything happpened to this kit, I would replace with the same thing.

Sound: This kit is just amazing. Out of the box the 10 inch, 12 inch, and 13 inch toms already had heads on them and were tuned decently. The snare also had the heads on it but were pretty loose, but in 5 minutes i have the best sounding snare i've ever heard. I bought RemO's in advance which was good cause i was getting some harsh overtones until i threw them on. These babies sound amazing. Feature: For the price you are getting an amazing deal. The mounted and suspended tom mounts allow for complete customization for you to get your perfect feel. The kit also included extra lugs and such for those of us who tend to lose things (: Ease of Use: I got home from the Avenged Sevenfold concert at 12 the night these had arrived and i couldnt help but setting them up. I don't believe it came with a manual... but for $700 this is relatively obviously a kit someone would step up to off a cheaper one. Its extremely playable, amazing customization. Quality: The finish is gorgeous. i got mine with the green fade black and it looks amazing. The pictures in the description of the green make it look pretty bobo but the actually colors resemble to me a monster energy can. Everything came perfect out of the box! Value: Amazing. You won't find a better deal. Especially with the added 10 in tom. Manufacturer Support: I haven't had to deal with the company. Overall: I expect to be satisfied for several years with this product. The hardware is good and it looks like it should last.

Sound: Set came with excellent quality heads that I did not have to replace or re-tune for my Rock style of playing..Came with all the hardware I needed and high quality at that! I was surprised... Feature: Excellent quality hardware was included by Ludwig.. Thought I would need a clamp to attach the extra Tom but it was there...What a pleasant surprise!!!! Got everything I needed.... Ease of Use: Very Easy to set up...Did not have to re-tune the heads but that would be very easy also.... Quality: Set is made extremely well..Finish perfect..Everyone here loves them...I am only taking these on the road and should last forever given proper care and loving attention!!! Value: This drum set is an excellent value for the money...Nuff said.... Manufacturer Support: Zzounds is a great company to deal with..Answers given quickly...Second time I have dealt with them and NO problems...Have not had to use warranty or seek repairs... The Wow Factor: Everyone who sees them says it is a beautiful drum set!!!! Overall: I expect this to be my last drum set and only if it falls apart or gets destroyed by someone else would I replace it...Is typical Ludwig excellence, thats why I wanted Ludwig...
