I'm a bass player who has tried them all over the years,,, I'd never gig without a locking strap; and this is far and away the best design of the bunch. The 3" strap may be overkill for some folks - I also have the 2" wide model for my acoustic. The ease of use and peace of mind make this strap a bargain at twice the price. Don't wait until you've suffered your first drop on stage; really an ugly thing to experience!

"my new strap"
I like these and hooked. This is a solid and secure strap and more comfortable and just as easy to put on as a normal old guitar strap. 5 stars

I previously said this strap was way too short, but I was just a dummy. I figured out how to adjust it, so I take bad my bad review. Sorry! This strap, once adjust properly, is just fine. No problems at all. Again, my apologies to the manufacturer!
The locks works well, it didn't fall off when I was adjusting the intonation, holding the bass almost upside down. I feel safe using this strap.

"wow i love this "
I really love this strap. it locks my Taylor 914 and also is comfortable and hold my Les Paul. Great!
