10 out of 10Feature:
everything is right at the touch of a finger or the twist of a knob. its super easy to use, if you have any expierience with multi processors then all it takes is a little adjustment. the spider 3 has several amp models, and gives you the ability to alter everything to where you want it...all the modulation and reverb controls are super easy. the head unit on the amp adjusts all the other levels when you apply the effects....so its completely dummy proof.
Quality:
metal knobs......thick vinyl amp cover.......tight stretched speaker cloth.....its all around a good quality amp, comes nicely packed in the box...there really isn't much to worry about.
i bought a "warehouse damaged" one or something like that.....but it was only an issue with the box. the amp has no issues and it really saved me a few dimes.
Value:
great value....honestly could probobly add a couple hundred to the price.
Desirability:
its not a love button or anything...looks good...and its dark colors would help it mesh into the background on stage.
Sound:
check it out...this thing has got everything that you need to be able to round off any guitar model you are looking for...from blues to metal this thing covers it all. the effects are what you would expect from line 6...and for being a solid state amplifier, it has a really nice "tube" sound when you get into the classic "twang" and "blues" models. the only thing i have a "issue" with which really isn't even that big of a deal is that the distortion stays pretty grainy even when you drop the gain down, especially when you run it into a sound board.......if you have the right computer software for recording though, you can really trim out the gain and make a nice rounded sound that isn't too digital.
Ease of Use:
i have had several amps like this....and i would put it at the top of the list when it comes to easy to use, and sounding good.
Support:
haven't had to use em.....but i have talked to them in the past about their "variax" guitar system and line 6 knows how to help you feel comfortable with your equipment.
Overall:
i don't think im goin gto need another amp anytime soon.

10 out of 10Feature:
The features.......lets just say ive owned this for almost a year, and i still find new songs and bands that i didnt see before. The unlimated presets offer plenty of options to jam to a cetain song, or even make your own setting for an original. Also the two 12" Celestians in the back dont hurt to get that great sound. Plus you can use the line outs to hook this bad boy up to a cab and play with even more power.
Quality:
Premium...all I have to say is "The Celestians speak for themselves".
Value:
Amazing price, fender sells amps with less watts for more money everyday, and im sure the quality is the same. Dont get Line 6 wrong, they are premium parts.
Desirability:
Omg just look at the picture, its a beast, but with pazaa. Its just built perfect.
Sound:
Amazing sounds. Clear and crisp on the clean settings, and rough and dirty on the insane setting. Even plays great sound on quite volume(altough with an amp like this, you should be playing it loud).
Ease of Use:
I didnt give it a 10 because i always get lost. Unless you buy the floorboard to go with it, the presets can be a bit of a b**ch to get where you need to go. How ever the Tuner is very cool to use, and easy.
Support:
All the support you need is in the Pilotes Manual you recieve with it. Any dont worry, this amp isn;t gonna break any time soon.
Overall:
If you have the cash, buy it, dont wait, get this, you will surely be satisfied.

10 out of 10Feature:
Where to begin. Their endless. I really like the line in so you can jam along with your ipod or whatever. Wish it had an effects loop.
Quality:
I've had it for over a year now, not one single problem with it.
Value:
Would of paid alot more for this amp.
Desirability:
Genius
Sound:
Endless custom sounds, sounds alright at low volumes. I'm only had a chance to crank this thing a couple of times, but when i did it was awesome.
Ease of Use:
For me it was a little complicated getting each of my channels to have the same volume, but i'm not really a tech guy. Instructions were a little vague.
Support:
Haven't had to use it
Overall:
I don't think i'll have any problems with this amp. Great Product, get it if you can.

10 out of 10Feature:
It really dropped my jaw with the features theres so many to choose from
it has a built in tuner for those beginners out there and those times you are out of tune and need a quick fix yes it has a few secrets you access with the tap button im gonna let you find out about that yourself.
Quality:
Very portable, and very sturdy its built ground up and unlike the older model spider two the knobs are made of metal not plastic so thats a very high improvement cause the knobs are the main thing to this amp it got a tight stretch speaker cover which is good if you are a aggressive
player.
Value:
Its very well priced i think it worth more than selling price really.
Desirability:
Line 6 is known for bringing the rock star sex appeal to there products
this amp is a great looking amp.
Sound:
The Sound covers every base from Moody blues to All that remains it sound is that of a tube amp its very warm toned amp the treble is not attack like most punk bands would like but its still hands down perfect for all sounds.
Ease of Use:
So simple but so complex on this amp the dial in knobs are very straight
forward so you know what you are adjusting not as basic as most amps but
your not a basic player are you. its modeled after a mesa/boogie and its got depth controls which really impressed me.
Support:
I only called Line 6 support once for the Line 6 Spider II and they was very helpful and very quick to offer full refund and free shipping.
Overall:
I will be satisfied till I cant play it anymore its so great and 400 presets never get old.

10 out of 10Feature:
has everything you need built in.
Quality:
like i said i've only had it for 5 months, and over 20 years of playing i've used alot of amps and this looks and feels like it will last a long time. i would take it on the road.
Value:
great value. this amp could sell for more with no problem. good price and alot of extras.
Desirability:
good looking piece, everything is where it should be for ease of use, and it's replacing a marshall and a laney. although both great products, now i have everything in one unit.
Sound:
the sound is great, if it's been done you can copy it, when you get it read the manual, it has a few tricks in it to get some other tones. i've had it for about 5 months and i'm still finding new things this thing can do.
Ease of Use:
really easy to navigate and find what you need, but read the manual,
Support:
i've been on the line 6 web site and it looks like they went all out trying to give any information they think you might need. i've never delt with them direct but it looks like they're ready to help.
Overall:
i think i'll have this amp for a very long time, if i replace it, it will be another line6. i was looking at another marshall, peavey, randall and fender, but every body in the store was playing the line6. i talked to a few of them and saw what this ting could do and was sold on it.

10 out of 10Feature:
preseting and the effects on it, simply awsome
Quality:
extremely well built, from the looks of it, it'll last a pretty damn long time
Value:
for 500 bucks, this thing is a STEAL
Desirability:
if you want something that will blow you away in every direction possible, for 500 bucks (or anywhere near the area), this is it
Sound:
This thing is kill! love the sound, all the way from Clean to Insane, love all settings, specially the METAL (RED) if you want that Metallica distorted sound, or if you want something a little less distorted, Crunch (green) to get that AC/DC or Iron Maiden distorted sound, either way you look at it, sound, kills!
Ease of Use:
you have to be a moron to not know how to work this thing, very simple, amazing results
Support:
even though i never have had to use support for this amp, Line6 were very quick to reach, and very helpful when i did need to call them for other line6 products
Overall:
price, sound, volume, reliability, durability and etc,
gotta love it, its a simple as that

10 out of 10Feature:
Audio input makes this amp a speaker for anything with a headphone outlet. The Built in tuner is pretty handy too.
Quality:
No complants, except sometimes when i turn it on it makes a loud cracking sound.
Value:
Amp is definitly worth the money, but if it was in stock, i would have gotten the 2x12 vershion.
Desirability:
Don't let the picture fool you! It did for me, but when i took it out of the box and put it in my room i almost fainted.
Sound:
Extremely wide range of sounds, even if there isn't a preset for a song i can still duplicate the effect i want.
Ease of Use:
If a chimp could play the guitar, this woudl be the amp that it would use.
Overall:
Couldn't be more satisfied with this amp.

9 out of 10Feature:
what more do you need ?
Quality:
Very impressed with quality for this low price. Celestion speakers are always a great choice, very durable, great tone.
Value:
You will not find a better value. I guarantee it.
Desirability:
The design is slick, compact, and sounds great.
Sound:
great tone variation, killer metal distortion, very clean clear sound. This set up is a rock guitar player's dream. It cost much less than Marshall, Krank, Mesa Boogie, etc. You must go to a local retailer to try it out yourself. I am buying the HD 150 half stack to use in my band. This 150watt 2x12 combo is great, my rythum guitar player has this model. Im completely sold on the spider 3, it is a complete 180 turn better than the spider2.
Ease of Use:
Easy use, great presets, easy to edit.
Support:
Never called for support, so I'll give a 9 for not really knowing.
Overall:
I give a 10 rating because of the killer tones you get. Ive owned Marshall, Peavey, Fender amps. This amp deliver's a much better distortion range, and just as clean as the Marshall.
