10 out of 10Feature:
Theres a lot of features, but for some reason theres no way to get a clean clear sound. When I need to plug a microphone or keyboard into an amp and get a clean sound, I end up having to use my 50 dollar crappy amp.
Quality:
The amp itself is pretty sturdy, but the quality of the sound is TERRIBLE. Again, you'll never get a clean tone out of this amp; theres distortion on the clean. It makes no sense. The quality of the other distortion effects, like insane, aren't very good either.
Value:
not worth the money, even though its under 100. I wouldn't even pay half of that for this amp; its a pain to use and takes up room in my recording room.
Desirability:
The only reason to want this amp is for the effects, which are terrible anyway.
Sound:
Although there are a lot of effects that come with this amp, they are not worth it. The clean tone is terrible; the amp puts a distortion on it that you can't get off. You can take the echo off that comes with the clean, but there's still a ton of funky distortion that it has. When I plug my microhpone or keyboard into it, I get the same terrible distortion on clean when all i want is the actual sound of the instrument! If your looking for an amp that has a nice clean sound, DO NOT get this spider.
Ease of Use:
This amp is NOT easy to use if you want to quickly change from effect to effect. The clean is much softer than the other effects, and if you need to make a quick change forget it. If you go from clean to any other effect, you have to adjust all different knobs to finally get the right volumes and tone.
Support:
Never needed support
Overall:
I've never had a more disapointing buy. I will never be able to use this amp for anything but practicing in the basement. I will never be able to use it for anything but guitar because I can't get a clean sound out of it.

10 out of 10Feature:
The customizable amp models are very nice. They are quite straightforward to use, and offer a nice variety of parameters for the price of the amp. It also has a very nice handle.
Quality:
This amp seems quite solid. I've taken it to jam sessions, and nothing has broken(yet). It is not Gibson or Fender, but this is a solidly built amp. I would perform with this any day, as long as I didn't need too much amplification.
Value:
I think it is worth $100.
Desirability:
This is not necessarily the hottest amp, but it is by no means ugly.
Sound:
The clean setting is the one I have used the most. It has a very nice, clear sound to it. The other three levels of distortion are nice, but if you have a good distortion pedal you might want to use that instead. The models are not going to sound quite as good as the hardware the amp is modeling, but it is enough for all but die-hard amp fanatics.
Ease of Use:
It is a pretty simple amp to work with. You can plug it in, turn it on, and start playing without having to follow any instructions. Programming in amp settings required a glance at the included instructions, which were very easy to understand.
Support:
I have not had to deal with Line 6.
Overall:
This is a pretty dang awesome amp, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants there amp to be able to model different sounds. If you know you want to sound like a Fender, Vox, Gibson, or any other brand of amp, you might want to think about getting one of those instead. That being said, I am extremely pleased with this amp. I will probably replace it with something larger in the future, but for now, this amp is perfect.

5 out of 10Feature:
I didnt even bother looking at all the features because the clean channel sucked so bad.
Quality:
I guess it looks durable enough. Its a nice looking amp for sure. Its pretty good size and has protected corners.
Value:
If you like metal this just might be the amp for you although even the insane channel is pretty weak in my book.
Desirability:
It does look nice..better looking than Vox amps although i'd rather have one that worked well, not looked sexy.
Sound:
The sound of this amp is decent, that is if you want to spend your entire time tweaking every little thing and not playing. Whenever you hit the clean channel button the tape echo kicks in and adds a sort of chorus to the sound. A pain in the ass if you just want to hit clean and go. This amp is not meant for blues or rock without crazy distortion.
Ease of Use:
Like i said, its a pain to tweak every little thing. It seems pretty straight forward but not very user friendly when you have to keep tweaking it.
Support:
Didnt use them so i cant say
Overall:
I'm going to replace this with a Vox or Fender.

Quality:

Value:
good 4 the price
Sound:
It has an annoying buzz especially when you turn it on. It gets hard to find the sound you want sometimes, but it's got some good features like chorus tremelo reverb ect. all and all the sound is ok.

5 out of 10Feature:
This amp is somewhat of a paradox. The 4 operating modes are primarily for rock and metal, no blues channel for example - you have to go to the 75 watt amp for that. On the other hand, for $10 more than a distortion pedal, you get a little amplifier with distortion, some overdrive, and a few effects like reverb and delay. These functions work fine with my Les Paul, but not so good for my Epi Casino, and the Les Paul still sounds better on the fender. But then again, for $99, $10 - $20 more than a pedal, you get a little amp for rock music, but not a full functioning combo amp.
Quality:
Too soon to tell, but it seems to be well made. No problems yet.
Value:
As noted above, great value for the money compared to a pedal. But I only paid about $30 more for a fender dsp on sale, and it is clearer and much more versatile.
Desirability:
This is not my only amp; I bought it because they were out of fender DSPs, it was dirt cheap, and I wanted to try out Line 6 (I've always had fenders, going back to the sixties). So I can't I say "I want it", but someone starting out to play metal might find this very desirable for the money.
Sound:
Good metal sounds, but compared to my fender dsp amp, the clear channel is not so clear, and with a distortion pedal, the fender blows this away.
Ease of Use:
The 4 pre-sets have pre-set volumes, so everytime you change modes, you have to adjust the volume too. You can re-program these, but the volume is still fixed at whatever you program it at. And there's no facility for a footswitch.
Support:
N/A - Haven't needed any yet
Overall:
I might return this and get the 75W version, which has a blues channel and the digital pre-sets, or the similar Vox amp, which is about $50 cheaper than the 75W Line 6. Also, the fender fm65dsp comes with a dual footswitch (included), but I didn't want to spend $299 at this time, although the dual footswitch might justify doing so, since some of these foot switches cost $99 individually.

8 out of 10Feature:
The features are on kinda .....Meh.....and nothing real good. There are better and cheaper amp that have better features.
Quality:
It is a ok qulity amp but there are better at the price.
Value:
I think the price is a rip off in my book with this amp.
Desirability:
I rather sleep in a casket for 2 years.
Sound:
2/4 of the sound is ok but not great. The clean channel is pretty good but just lacks power and insane channel is a.....pretty ok distortion for a practise amp.The crunch and metal channel is a waste of space because is lacking power and sound, personally I find them garbage. The other effects like flanger are ok but could be better. If I could say if one thing about this amp it would be "Weak"
Ease of Use:
It is very easy to use.
Support:
didn't need any.
Overall:
I wish I could get my money back and buy something worth my time, money, and jamming sessions.

8 out of 10Feature:
Phaser, Chorus, Echo, Clean, Distortion at the push of a button or a twist of a knob, how can you beat that? Has way more than what most practice amps have, but that's a good thing.
Quality:
The amp is sturdy. No lose screws or ends. Remember that this is a practice amp! Obviously not made for gigs!
Value:
For $100, you can't beat it. Some tone geeks may like other brands, but how many of those amps have all the effects? This was worth every penny that I spent on it.
Sound:
You can't beat the tone and effects that are on this amp. For the size that this amp is, it is LOUD! The chorus mixed in with the clean sounds amazing and I actually like using it more than the standard clean. For distortion, I always put it to Insane for my drop C tuning. I tried many different practice amps before settling on this one.
Ease of Use:
You will have to read the instruction manual or toy around with it to get certain settings to work (i.e. clean mode without chorus).
Overall:
I won't be searching for another practice amp. There's no need to when I have everything I want without all the extra cables. If anything were to happen to this amp I would definitely purchase another one. The only flaw is that you have to get used to twisting knobs to turn effects off. But other than that, I have no complaints about it.
