This is by far the best sounding wireless I've ever used. As a bass player with active pickups, traditional wireless tend to distort. With this system their claim that it sounds as good as a direct cable is spot on. I cannot tell any difference between the two. I was planning to buy the G50 system based on price as I really wanted the G90 but didn't want to pay that much for it. The G55 gave me exactly what I was looking for, front facing display that I can easily see when perched on top of my stack, plus an extra 100ft range for only another 50 bucks.. Testing against interference trouble spots my old wireless had has proven to be unaffected with this wireless system. If you're on the fence, get one, you won't be disappointed...

Ive used this line 6 relay for 4 years now. Every Person I have tech'd for or been in a band with has always commented how their tone does not change and how reliable the signal is. no drop outs and the wireless pack is tough to handle beer bottles thrown at it to guitars being thrown across the stage. If your just weekend warrior or a touring professional musician this is the gear you need.

I have used the G55 on 6 gigs. It has been working flawlessly. On gig 6 I vibrated the receiver off my Ampeg BA115 Combo. When it fell the power supply jack popped out. I set my P-Bass down, spun around, picked it up, gave it a quick look over, plugged in the power jack and got back into the song. This took about 30 seconds. After the set was over I took a solid look at the receiver, power jack, and power wire. Everything was solid and ready to go. It’s a beefy receiver. Finding open channels, or channels with the least amount of interference is super simple. Make the antenna are properly installed and then turn the receiver on. Turn to channel One. Let the receiver sit there a minute to think. Watch the signal strength LED’s. They might float up and down a little. If they float up to Four or Five then tune the receiver to channel Two. If the LED’s stay low, One or Two then your good to go on that channel. Go through all the channels like this to find which channel has the least interference. The Transmitter is one of the best I’ve ever used and I’ve used a bunch. Built solid and feels solid in the hand. The controls are simple and easy to use. The battery door works great. In and out with old and new batteries in 10 seconds! Set up is user friendly. Turn it on, press the Select Button all the way in and hold till THE LCD Flashes. Next press the Value Button to switch up through the channels. Stop on the channel you selected on the receiver and your done. The two units pair up immediately. The select button also gives you the choice of Hi or Low power. I have used the transmitter on both settings and there is no difference in sound at all. On Hi power I get one show out of the batteries. On Low power I can get two shows.If your gonna be near the receiver and there isn’t much radio frequency interference or RFI showing up on the receivers signal strength LEDs I suggest using the transmitter on low power. If you find a lot of interference around all 12 channels then pick the one with the least amount of interference and use the transmitter on high.
