GREAT PEDAL.
Sound
BEAST!!! amazing distortion....the best ive EVER heard in a pedal. Beats Boss Metal Zone by a long shot. This pedal is the new industry standard. GET ONE.
Features
Has Mid frequency selection and Mid SCoop which, along with the high and low EQ's, can create any sound. has Level and distortion knobs too. the best features are the three different distortion types and the BUILT IN NOISE GATE. only wish it had stereo output.
Quality
STROngly built...
Value
little pricey...

"THE ONLY "TRUE" METAL PEDAL, GODS GIFT"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
spend some money and buy this pedal, you'll have to put out a little cash but you'll see why once you take it home and mess with it.
Sound
I recently bought the boss mt-2 metal zone pedal, took it home to find out it did not have the metal tone i was looking for. took it back and saw this pedal and it is out of control. if your in the market for a metal pedal this is what your lookin for. i wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if i didn't think it was the best
Features
so many tone settings to mess with
Quality
This thing is a rock, built so solid only problem is the power, it will drain a 9volt in an hour so you have to buy the power supply which is about $20, i bought the boss psa-120t power adapter for it because the guy who sold me it said the line6 power supplies were being recalled
Value
worth more than the 100 bucks i paid for it

"The Truth"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Godd over the top distortions (3 types), ,....actually not really. The sad thing is every multi distortion I have ever tried just varies the eq and not the core distortions.
Sound
OK sound. not as bright or real as a good analog metal distortion pedal. The biggest problem with this or any of the current digital pedals is the latency. There is an audible gap between the time you pick the note until the time you hear it. This goes for all the Line6 equipment as well as Yamaha and Behringer.
Features
For the price you should be able to store a couple of presets.

"A little too much metal to handle"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Like I said before. You're getting more than what you barganed for. Which is not nessessarily a good thing. Cuz the distortion can sometimes be too much for the average rocker. But this thing is good for what it's worth (not by price) in general. But being a long time customer of Line 6, I'm a little disapointed
Sound
This pedal sure lives by its name. Uber Metal, Witch of course means "above metal" in German. A little too much above metal if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, it packs a good punch when I'm performing in the studio. But when it comes to jamming with a few friends, I find it to be over distorted. Sure, the Drive knob can be lowered, but it can take away the sustained volume when holding a high note during a solo.
Features
3 different types of distortion you can choose from. But when it comes right down to it, the only difference between the 3 types is the equalization, and not the core of the distortion.
Ease of Use
What would be so difficult about it? 6 knobs and 3 settings. If you're that stupid, than it's just a matter of listening with your ears and seeing what sound suits you best.
Quality
I think it's well built. Looks as tough as a rock. But looks can be Diseaving I had some problems with my Line 6 Tap Tremelo pedal, and had to get that fixed at Line 6. But this one hasn't given me any problem.
Value
Uber Pricey. But for what it's worth, you're getting a little more than what you barganed for.
Manufacturer Support
When you do bring in a broken product to Line 6. They don't nessessarely fix it. They just replace you with a new one.
The Wow Factor
Looks very Awsome. I don't know any other company that makes pedals this bad ass

"Uninspiring"

I read so many good reviews about this pedal a few years ago. I bought it, took it home and played. It has a sound alright but not anything compared to my good old tube amps. Even the Crate Shockwave head inspired me more. It sounded okay trouggh a really cheap beginner amp my friend had though. Never used it after the day I tried it out.
