Sound: Sound quality is great, it doesn't add digital feel to the sound as some digital recorders do. I usually play in my headphones, so I put this devise after the amp and plug headphones directly into it. That way it captures not only the sound of my pedal, but also the sound of the amp. Feature: That Mark button is great. It allows you to mark your brightest ideas and makes it easier to find them later. Ease of Use: If you ever owned a CD player or an iPod and you know what the Play and Rewind buttons mean than you'll be fine. Quality: It's made for good! Looks and feels solid, doesn't feel like it's going to break if you breathe on it. Value: It's worth much and much more than it costs. Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: Oh yeah, it's appealing. I was going to buy new practice amp, after 3 months of deciding which one I want to buy I finally made my mind. Went to the local store with $100 in my pocket. And then I saw this little thing just sitting on the shelve, fell in love with it and bought it instead of new amp. So now I'm stuck with my crappy amp, but I don't regret buying this recorder. Overall: It's a very handy little thing. As a beginner I find this recorder very helpful, cause I can record up to 12 hours of my playing and than analyze it and work on whatever is wrong. I also try to come up with my own riffs and licks and this device is always captures my best and worst ideas.

Sound: This wondrous device is without doubt a gift bestowed by the Dark Gods of Metal! I have the Backtrack + Mic. I've owned it 2 days and I've already recorded every one of my songs. The sound quality is amazing. I set it up with 44.1 kHz sample rate and 24 bit depth. It lowers the available recording time to 2 hrs but the operation is so simple all I have to do is record, plug into my computer, transfer the file, and off to play some more. If you need a recording device that doesn't require a technical degree to use properly, this is it. Plug it in and play. It really is that simple. Feature: See above Ease of Use: It really is as simple to use as is advertised. I have mine connected to the output on my Line 6 Über Metal so I record the same sound I'd have coming out of my amp. Quality: See above Value: My bandmates live hours away so we trade MP3s online a lot. Previously I was living with crap recording from my MP3 player. Those days are over. This was worth every penny I paid for it and now that I have it I would have paid more if I had to. It's really that good. I know I may encounter issues later on as I'm still playing with all the features, but as it stands right now this is the best investment I've made in years. Years. Manufacturer Support: Excellent online resources. You can download the core software for free (in case you blow it out by accident, a simple reinstall is all you need) plus it has a standard and advanced manual in PDF format at the Line 6 site. The Wow Factor: About the same size as an older style cell phone, very inconspicuous if used live (you'll hear all the times you screwed up, ha). The applications of this device are numerous. Overall: I'll be using this device for as long as it works, and if it ever breaks I'll buy a new one. It's that good.

Sound: As I have nothing else like this to compare it to I have given it a 9.Having said that it more than does the job and for the price compared to other brands is hard to beat Feature: The back track has more than enogh features for the job it has to do.As they say keep it simple. Ease of Use: The back track can,t be more easy to use.plug ,turn on and play.Does not get easier than that Value: compeared to something similer the price is hard to match Overall: I can see me using this until the thing falls to bits or is replaced by something else that does a better job for a lot less money .That will be at the end of time its self
