Sound: The sonic prowess of this unit is equally as good as any software or hardware effects that are out there. The audio quality is very impressive....deep,crisp,clean and utterly brilliant effect! I chose this unit to replace the muddy effects in my Tascam 2488neo and it's dramatically improved my vocals and instrumentation...what an incredible upgrade for the money!! Feature: Features galore...more than I'll ever use and the most useful for me,are the effects combinations,the routing possibilities and the nifty little BPM control on the display screen-WOW! Ease of Use: Front panel controls,LCD readout and sub-menus are intuitively laid out and an utter joy to work with! The manual is very useful and the tech support is top notch!Generally a small learning curve for those that are experienced with rack-mount processors and I did not have much prior to this unit and due to the versatility,I had a bit of trouble getting started......but 5 minutes with a tech support guy straightened me out right quick! Quality: I've had the unit only two days-but I am confident that it is durable,as it feels like a very well crafted unit. Very smooth and solid in terms of tactile quality. Value: If you think you need to spend more than this for vocals & keyboards-THINK AGAIN!This unit is ridiculously inexpensive for the level of quality and features!! Manufacturer Support: Tech support is excellent! The Wow Factor: A beautiful looking unit,display is very pleasing to the eyes,& great tactile quality of the front panel controls! Overall: I'll be satisfied for a lifetime if it holds up that long!

Sound: this a great unit for the price. keep in mind you are getting a unit at entry level price that has top notch reverbs and delays. there are some draw backs that depending on how you use it depends on how in depth you can control the effect you are using. took a little time to get the sound i wanted, but it is great tone, i will be adding another to my rack system a little later. one will be for reverb and the other just delay. that way i can taylor both to what i want with all the mx300 processing power. i use this electric guitar and it is just great. Feature: you get what you need. Ease of Use: with a little time i say a couple days you can master the format and dial up what you want Quality: very solid Value: worth ever penny to me anyways Manufacturer Support: seem kinda hard to reach but havent needed them yet The Wow Factor: its a rack processor what can i say? Overall: just want to add another down the road

Sound: The reverbs are realistic and very convincing. All the necessary reverbs are there and of high quality. Feature: Here is the point. The manual speaks of a possible connection in series after a mixer for instance. But there is no dry/wet knob nor is it assignable. This means that adjusting the dry/wet mix means entering the menu, search for the parameter page, scrolling down, select and then adjust. This is far to difficult. It makes the unit not easy to use in series. Also, all the factory settings are 100% wet. Use this unit only parallel, preferably with a mixer with 2 aux out. Ease of Use: It does not have much possibilities to adjust the programs. Especially if you use two effects. And if you want a ping pong delay with (tape)dampening.. It is not possible... Quality: It does feel sturdy. Hopefully it will last longer than my MPX550 which was not repairable after 4.5 years. (failing rotary encoder and no spares available) Lexicon said this unit would be better. Value: If you want a simple, not expensive reverb unit you really get great reverbs with this one. You might miss some options and use it only parallel with a mixer. Manufacturer Support: It is easy to get in contact, also by phone. Polite, reasonable quick responds by email, but not very supporting.. They offered me this MX300 in stead of an MPX550. But that is not the same.. I have 2 Lexicon units, but not happy with both. They know, but I have bad luck.. Shouldn't be with professional gear. But that is my situation.. The Wow Factor: Always try it before you buy.. Overall: It is a great simple unit, but I really miss a more direct dry/wet setting possibility. It makes it only usable in combination with a mixer. I am afraid I am going to look for a TC.
