This great interface hardware, married with Cubasis LE-4 software (that comes with it) has, finally, delivered what I wanted. A solid, non-complex, fine, professional, smooth and rich recording experience! I have produced 1 song of 4 minutes on the first day. Then it flowed. I have rekindled many of my former musical compositions because of this I-Onix U-42S. I can make three productions a day (average of 4-7 minutes) or a total of two times 10 minutes. I can also set up a project of 20 minutes of music- say within an hour, save it, and then shut down my work-station, Lexicon I-Onix interface and PC to have my hardware rest and cool down. (My Lexicon, Roland, Kork and Dell-PC) An hour or two later, (while sipping my tea on a side table) I would run the 26 minutes project and save it. Wow! What a relief! No hissing, no humming, no scratching. I love it

So far I-Onix U42S is my best especially because I can afford it. But I see Lexicon coming up with new technology. Let me get some income first.

It is compatible and manageable. Once saved, I copy my proectt under a different file name and start editing it, using the great Cubasis LE-4. Then I chooose the best file and send it out for broadcasting. My musiic has been broadcasted. Thank you Lexicon

Hey... I am not certain what the deal is with some of the issues people are having with this unit... I can tell you this, make sure you use it and install it in a dedicated USB port.. not a hub! only issue I am having is a shut down problem... but the units has no latency and sounds fantastic!!! I have a rig with 9 gigs of ram 650 HD and a 750watt pwr supp. This thing even has a profession look to it... no pops... no clicks!!! great head phone monitoring!!! Get one today!!!!

The Lexicon reverb. is supreme!! a must have... sounds like heaven in a box!

dont listen to people when they say there no tech support... They simply arent readin the supplied manual with the tech service number on it.( learn to read people!) I called and waited only a few minutes to speak to someone... you dont need to go through the website and email.. use your noodle!
