I used these for five years... Was brutal on them. I have since bought some other "flexible rod" style mic mounts for drums, but they don't work NEARLY as well. They tend to "flex" out of shape over time, changing mic placement. The only problem I had with this product was the straight metal bar (which makes it better than other mounts) would occasionally get bent rattling around in the box with my hardware. Easy to fix with a hammer tho!
