Desirability:
The design is wicked with all the flashy lights, cool start up!

Sound:
First off, the sound is pretty decent with my KRK6 monitors, I haven't had any issues so far and I've been using it for over 6 months. It's intergration with Ableton Live is bang on, my only concern are the knobs; they are a little too loose - don't seem durable, defintely wouldn't set it up in a club. The indivudual channel effects and the master effects are awesome, lots of creativity can be done with this mixer. It meets all my needs as an electronica producer but am dissapointed I did not splurge the extra bucks for the Zero 8, it is defintely worth it! Simply having the built-in touch pad helps tremendously with LIVE, replaces the mouse mouse movement which gets to be annoying. not too mention the extra four lines. Would I recommend this mixer - YES.

Feature:
for $800 you should a get a fire wire cord included. also i would like to see the entire mixer midi mappable.

Quality:
has a great feel to it. not light like some other midi control mixers. buttons, faders and knobs all seem to be holding up after 2 months of 4 nights a week 4 hours a night use.

Value:
i think for $800ish its a GREAT piece of equipment and i have recommended it to many other pro djs.

Desirability:
looks good and i like the color coded knobs. i cna tell what i have each channel set to at a glance, midi, audio, mic etc.

Sound:
Sound is great. i love how you can change the sound of the mixer with one control knob. some clubs have less bass in there systems and this feature helps a bunch! I have only used it in live play not recording yet but i plan on it. can't see what i record sounding any different than live play.

Ease of Use:
works well with VSL, CUE, VDJ so far so good.

Support:
no problems so far to deal with korg.

Overall:
as my demands change so does my equipment. i am always trying to stay on top of what i need to stay on top of my game. i am a professional dj and will always be looking for new and better equipment. i will def. use this one for a long time.
