Feature:
the sequencer on the LE is the same as the Triton studio.

Value:
this is by far the best keyboard i've owned in the last ten years!! for the price, nothing can touch this!

Sound:
Great sounds, so many to choose from as well! the quality is breath taking. wonderful strings, great brass, some of the layered piano sounds are truly inspiring! the souds actualy make you want to write music!! the feel of the keyboard is more like a real piano, dosent feel plasticy at all. very user friendly, but i must admit, i'm still learning new stuff that it can do everyday!!

I owned an O1W/fd for 7 years. I payed 2 grand for it new in 1992. Honestly with the exception of the floppy drive on the O1, The price for the LE is an amazing deal for what it does! Smart Media data storage kind of a turn off. But dual arpeggiators! And they can be sequenced with realtime filter effects. Same basic seq. as the O1 too. Very versatile board for trance and techno. The keyboard feels a bit light and the Triton LE would never make it on the road(The O1 was built like a tank) otherwise highly recommend>

Feature:
The 16 track sequencer is the most valuable feature.

Quality:
Some say it is cheaply made. However, my was once knocked over from it's stand and continued to perform!

Value:
It was a good purchase. No regrets.

Desirability:
I like just about everything about my "silver dream machine".

Sound:
The Korg Triton Le has a wide variety of excellent expressive sounds. Yes, the sounds are compatible to my music style, Trance-Techno. I use the product with Ableton Live.

Ease of Use:
Lower marks here, I previously owned an Ensoniq ESQ-1 and it was much easier to use. Even the seprately purchased DVD's did not completely explain things to my satisfaction.

Support:
N/A No need.

Overall:
I am satisfied, expect to remain satisfied for many years to come. I do plan to add a Korg Radias in the near future.

The Triton Le is far beyond an average workstation. It is more of an upgrade of the Triton Classic and it's almost $1,000 less. Common since would tell anyone that you are getting just the same thing (possibly better) for a reasonable price. The only thing it lacks is a touch screen which is no big deal unless you are too lazy to scroll. Another huge benefit is the SmartMedia Card which can save the same as 100 floppy disks. Why have 100 floppy disks for the Triton when you can have 1 SmartMedia card for the Triton Le. The synth sounds are alot better and more upgraded than the Triton Classic anyway. If you have money to waste, go with the Triton Classic; but if you're trying to get down to serious "Korg" business, go with the Triton Le...whatever suits your heart.

Feature:
I wish you could use the preset sounds with the effects when recording without having to go through several screens to get them to sound how they sound when you play them when your not recording(the presets go dry and flat when you start recording).

Sound:
Some sounds are better than others. This keyboard is nice to have if you are interested in making techno or trance but it you want to do hip hop or r&b then try something else. The sounds are not made for rap and the few sounds that you could use are not worth buying this keyboard if hip hop or r&b is your thing.

Overall:
I will keep this keyboard but I will probably buy something else with sounds more suited to the type of music I am interested in.

Feature:
I bought it without accessories (pedal, stand). I already have 3 other synths at home, so, I can just reuse my Roland pedal and standard stand. Features? The sequencer is easy to use. There are short cuts to navigate through.

Quality:
I think, the build is reasonable. Mine is the 76-key board. If it was heavier, I won't enjoy carrying it around. The quality of the body is good. However, the LCD display screen is rather soft, I wonder what will happen if something hard and sharp touch it. The buttons are too noisy when pressed, they give loud 'tick' sounds when pressed. I like to play at night, and sometimes, I woke my wife up for pressing the buttons too hard or too many times. But the buttons look tough. This product is more suitable for studio or home use, but, still can be used in gigs. My Yamaha SY77 is tough, I sprained my wrist while carry it and took 3 months to recover from the sprain.

Value:
You get what you pay. That's it. Don't expect to have something like Triton Studio or Pro. I call LE a half-baked triton studio. The sounds are not as good as Studio, but, still reasonably good. I love it (i mean the price) I paid Singapore Dollar $2,200 in total (with padded bag)

Desirability:
Not really. I love the look of 88-keys like the Roland XV88 or any good looking 88-keys synth with solid build bodies, solid keys (not just empty plastics). The color is alright, I love the screen color, its bright, but should be bigger.

Sound:
There are loads of sounds, I don't think I'd even finish using all the sounds, 500+ sounds I guess. Unfortunately, the basic sounds are thin, close to horrible. The piano sounds especially. I've heard Motif flute sounds, Motif dist. guitar sounds, violins, they are great, but, this LE is no where near. The sounds are not that bad, but less realistic and lack expressions. In general, the sounds are acceptable, it doesn't sound like those cheap Casio or Yamaha home portatone, of course not. I'm making comparison to high end synths like the Motif, XV88, etc.

Support:
The salespersons many times invite me to come over so that I can get some tips from him. So far, I don't need any repair, I've no complain so far. Everything is good.

Overall:
I'm already putting this synth on ads (hahaha!) I love the sounds, the look, everything which lasted only 1 month. Now, I'm selling it. My next would be either Motif 8 or Roland XV88, has to be either one of this. Korg Triton Studio 88key is too expensive. Motif and XV88 are Studio's perfect match. So, yes, I'm selling it, hope to get rid of it very very very soon. I can't stand playing it anymore, can't stand listen to it anymore, got sick of it, just within 1 MONTH! ;-p

Feature:
Tons of really good presets.

Quality:
The casing is built ok, but the action is really lagging. The keys just feel cheap.

Value:
It's a good value for someone who dosen't need an all-in-one box to do everything for them.

Desirability:
It's decent looking.

Sound:
Great, clear sound.

Overall:
It's a good sounding synth with lots of versitility for the price.

Lots of control...escp. w/ the sample option sounds are good . time stretch and slice real useful. I wish they had a video that goes into MORE detail than the one shipped w/ keyboard.
(Yamaha Motif cost more and really complicated for new to Yamaha users)

Feature:
The Features are pretty good, it could use a lil more sound but hey, a big tyme synth for under a G, you really can't ask for too much more, the step sequencer is nice and I also like the quantizing feature.

Quality:
The qaulity is unmatched, I would really recommend this if you are trying too buy a key board....

Value:
It is a wise investment, considering all of the features that are on this keyboard, if you have a g just too blow, this will be a wise investment....

Sound:
The Sound qaulity is really nice, i'm a entry level user and it really sounds nice too me

Support:
Haven't had too use it

Overall:
Overall, when you mention keyboards, this keyboard has too be mentioned with one of the top keyboards, you cannot not count out the Triton LE, yeah it don't have as many sounds as its big brothers, but for the price this is a keyboard that you can't and will not beat, just take other keyboards around the same price and a comparison just cannot be made, know what i'm talkin bout.
