I plan on having this synth for a long time to come.
Sound
This thing is great sounding! It has some great analog sounds along with some powerful modern sounds. It took a little while to get used to, but once I got down the control interface and the LCD display it was great. Not only is it a nice synth, but it is also a good sequencer for external synths with MIDI. You can also run external synths into the vocoder to use as the sound source. The only thing it could use is some different drum kits. It has a bunch of synth drums, but very little regular sounding kits. It is still a good synth just the same.
Features
It did include a headset for the vocoder that is handy. The features I love about the Radias is the FX section, it can add a lot of flavor to the sound!
Ease of Use
Honestly, it had some great sounds straight out of the box, but they got even more amazing as I got editing and building my own presets! The interface is nice. I am an analog synth guy so having knobs for a lot of the control is nice. It did take some reading the manual to figure out some of the functions, but after about 1 hour after pulling it out of the box I got the hang of it.
Quality
It is built like a tank and only ways about 20 pounds if that much. It is very reliable so far. I have had mine for about a year now and have not had any problems out of it. It is a very tight and cool looking unit!
Value
For the power, complexity, and sound quality it is at a great price!
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to contact Korg yet and don't think I will have to.
The Wow Factor
IT IS A COOL BEAST!!!! I have a Moog Little Phatty, a Polymoog, a Akai AX-80, a Roland SH-201, a Korg i4S and the Radias is in a catigory all on its own as far as looks go. It is so modern, but has a touch of vintage class to it. It has wood side panels on the keyboard which I was not expecting. It looks cool in the dark!

"AWESOME PAWSOME!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
once i get this one, its a keeper. right now i scoot over to my friend's to play with his radias. he is not a very good programmer, so i have the privilege of programming sounds for both of us (we are a 2 man bad like the pet shop boys).
Sound
Sounds are amazingly clear and fat. It doesn't have the same sound as a Virus, but it has its own fat sound, the Korg polyanalog sound.
Features
Endless knobs, switches, and big fat screen puts access virus TI screen to shame! editing is real easy, you could use the computer editor if you are a mouse junkie. the features are endless: mmt modeling, vocoding, effects and awesome korg analog modeling.
Ease of Use
interface is superb, as mentioend above. great sounds are a tweak away. manual is nice if you can understand english.
Quality
made in japan. japanese engineering. says everything about its amazing quality. german engineering is nowhere as good as japanese engineering these days. the access ti paint can fall off if you don't clean it carefully. with the radias, i have used cloth dipped in soap water to clean it, no problems (yet). not that you should try this at home.
Value
excellent resale value like a lexus. this thing is lexus.
Manufacturer Support
company works with customers via irish acts subsite korgforums.com. some korg reps incl stephen kay, the karma guy, give answers quickly.
The Wow Factor
all my wet dreams are based on this machine.

Korg Radias Synthesizer Customer Review

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
The stock sounds on this keyboard are for techno/trance/synthisis freaks!(not my style) -Given time I think It could be tweaked to produce some amazing sounds, but I don't own it or plan on buying one ant time soon.
Features
Its deffinatley loaded with features, as you can see from its description.
Ease of Use
The manual is pretty extensive, and to get full use of this machines vast capabilities, you would probably have to spend many hours reading. -This unit will take a chunk of time for most people to master, though once you get it down it would probably be fairly easy to use as most of the functions quite readily accessable, with the size of the display, and the monster array of controller knobs, ect.
Quality
The action of the board itself, seemed kind of half and half to me, it wasn't the worst but it still felt cheap in a hard to define way. Its not in an aluminum case either, which is a pretty major qualatiy issue in my opinion.
Value
The unit (depending on where you buy it) seems to be reasonably priced if your looking to get a synth key board, for elctronic styles of music, and don't need a keyboard/workstation, but personally the most I would pay for one would be for less than half the price they are currentley selling for.

"Amazing Product from Korg, yet again!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The ONLY problem I had with it, and I couldn't honestly care less about it now, is the fact that it uses cheaper keys, had the system used full weighted keys, it would have been perfect in every way, but even then, this is a lightweight "portable" system.
Sound
The stock sounds are definitely the best for the pricing. All your bread n butter sounds are quite nice, others could use some improvement. but that's what the controls are for. Customizing the sounds is basically saying you have an infinite possibility of different sounds.
Features
The rack-mount is made up of many knobs and controls, which in turn creates the perfect way to change and distort sounds. The vocoder and the granualizer are amazing in even the simplest ways. Just the way everything went together. Very full in a compact area
Ease of Use
BIG learning curve, but that's the fun of it, you start out not knowing much about the Radias, then you either take the time to learn something about it, or you don't. For me, I've only learned the basics, but I'm still going to keep trying. It's very awkward when you start out, but as you become more familiar with it, it gets a lot easier.
Quality
Looks gorgeous, very silvery sleek look to it. The rack has an adjustable mechanism so you can get a feel for a lifted rack, and you can center it from the left, right or keep it in the middle of the system. It was very lightweight wen I lifted it which made me intrigued as to how they made so much, fit into so little.
Value
If I had the money I would buy 2 (one for me) and the other for a spare.
Manufacturer Support
Honestly, haven't even needed the support. Everything I needed was either on their site, or in the manual.
The Wow Factor
It's sleek, slim, light, and very powerful. It's a perfect machine for anyone willing to want to learn how the Korg Radias works.
