Style of Music: Oldies and Standards

Location: Northeast

Put me up to a leval of playing that my other keyboards can't match. Roland and Yamaha have many fine qualities but the power and sound of Korg PA 80 can't be matched. Be patient with the manual as it is a little confusing at first. You can find the sound and style you like very easy and there are people that can and do help on line.

This keyboard is the best performance keyboard on the market. Just hit start and go. Korg even has a seperate web-site for this keyboard with free software updates and great technical support. Don't deal with moody drummers or opinionated Bass players. This board will do it all and won't give you any creative lip.

Style of Music: Greek - Traditionnal - Variety

Bad points : only 2 fill-ins, break fill is no good, not enough "direct HD" styles

Good points: easely detunable, arabic flash card available, very good sounds and styles, joystick, very good KorgPa site (probably why I bought it), good price!

My only regret for the sounds is for the clarinets, I think they can be better.
Why not a greek flash card....? or at least good styles made by Korg in association with true greek musicians?

I've been elated over having this machine for a while. The sounds are incredible but yet the user interface is awkward and I can't get the midi-out to work properly. Even the support newsgroup has mixed signals to the remedy for that. However, it seems to be the best out there so far.

I use PA80 for a couple months now. This is the best Arranger keyboard in the market if you care so much about sound - kinda like myself. Easy to use: I pretty much master almost the major function in about 2 weeks, and you can find so many web side and msg board on the net to help you with your problems. I never regret spending 2K for this keyboard
