Since its introduction in 1978, the Korg MS Series of synthesizers caused a sensation by its sound, looks, and flexibility in sound creation. More than 20 years later, a new MS instrument is born, fusing the functionality of the SQ10 analog sequencer and VC-10 vocoder that were also part of Korg's lineup. The MS2000/MS2000R simultaneously returns to the origin of synthesizers and opens a new universe of possibilities. Learn More...

10 out of 10Feature:
I bought the floor model. No manual, no box, had to pay extra for the volume pedal. Arpeggios are nice to have, but they are kind of limited. Only 4 voice poly...2 if in dual! The sync is a little wierd but almost organic, works well with my style, needs very close monitoring for dance/techno. Vocoder very cool. I wish those darn knobs were infinant, hate that nasty, immidiate change!
Quality:
Knobs a bit cheezy, but I had mine giging for 9 months and no problems.
Value:
Very cool and powerful sounds are awaiting to be discovered. Fantastic value we're talking about here.
Desirability:
I wanted it the second I heard some kid messin' with it on the display floor! I dreamed about it for a week then went and bought the same dang floor unit that kid was making all the weird sounds with. They'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands now.
Sound:
Brighter, louder, nastier sounding...makes the Roland sound as if it was submerged in molasis. The delay is wonderful, the distortion...eh.
Support:
Got the manual online thanks to the going out-of-buisness sale I got the thing from. Got every thing I needed there.
Overall:
I love it! It has become an itegral part of my set. Now if I can just get my MS-10 repaired...Holy Smokes! Can you imagine?
