Feature:
This processor is very adaptable and easy to hook up to anything. All it's features are most useful.

Quality:
Die-cast construction.I got mine when they came out and I haven't had a problem with it yet..and people say that my style is rough on my equiptment.

Value:
It's well worth the money..No doubt!

Desirability:
They could have colors that would be extra cool.but over all it's nice looking piece of gear

Sound:
This device is incredible. It is flawlessly compatible with my Mixer(rane empath)Due to the fact I have Dry to wet faders for my effects. It has the koolest ground breaking effects that will blow your mind away. This processor has 100 effects that you can tweak to get an infinate amount of results it's very easy to use with the touch pad you can change sounds with perpetual motion and fluidicity with no breaks on each program, and the bpm button is as accurate as you can get.You can program your effects and keep your favorites at the touch of one of its 8 program buttons.the only thing I see that could be improved is to add a feature wich would allow you to save samples, but this is no big deal because it's so to use the sampling programs.Samples are very easy to aquire and render with this processor. It's diecast metal construction is always a plus.Hands down this beats the crap out of anything like it.Including the effects found built into to some of the popular mixers. Its also got voice coder programs great for vocals. The Kp2 is a Monster...Mark Cole(aka..Ol"King Cole)

Overall:
I'm so glad I bought it, I got a really good deal on mine to.I'll use it until it falls apart and I'm willing to bet its going to be along time...or unless they find a way to upgrade this product..I'll sell what I got in order to get the newer version as long as its just as fit.I think the kp2 has really helped me elevate my turntablism allowing me to do things with it that I never thought possible.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
it seems in the reviews i read before i purchased this that they synth features are highly underrated... though not a conventional way of playing, with a little practice (i have only had it a couple weeks) you can create some pretty complex sounds, i play along with live instruments, as well as arangements from my computer... the best part is you can play something, record it as a sample, loop it on the device and begin layering other sounds. of course all the effects are incredible, but i thought someone needed to stick up for the synth portion, its not to be underestimated

Quality:
though i don't plan to to throw it out my window, i imagine it will hold up for quite a while, everything feels pretty solid... i am a little worried about the switches, they feel a bit loose, but so far so good...

Value:
no one makes anything that can really compare to this, for what you get, i think its worth every penny..

Desirability:
its just plain hot... you rub your fingers on it and the thing changes colors, all the while weaving wonderful sounds i have no idea how you would make otherwise... does it really get any better than that?

Sound:
excellent sound quality,

Ease of Use:
how much easier could it get... select an effect and then move your fingers to control it...

Support:
i have never delt with korg as far as service issues, but i did email them once with a question which was replied to within 24 hours... really informative... i feel fairly confident they would do the same if i had a problem, however since nothing they have made has ever broken/malfunctioned on me, I don't know.

Overall:
i doubt i will ever replace it, unless a kp3 comes out... i almost want to get another one, i could see some great advantages to having 2 of these...

Feature:
The box, a power supply. 100 effect programs, everything you need. Dot My only minor point (wich has been wrote by many reviewers before) is that you gotta choose a single input source (line, phono, mic). I wish I could blend all this together if I could but, there's always a bit of hell in paradise!

Quality:
This thing is built like a tank! The only thing is you gotta take care of the touchpad itself, 'cause after 2 weeks playing hard on it, there's 2 or 3 scratches already. If you travel I suggest not to buy the Korg gig bag for the ES-1 and the Kaoss...I'd take a flight case instead.

Value:
I think this is the best ever made on the market. No way I was going to pay 500$ for a Pioneer EFX-500, and the effect control of the Alesis AirFX seems to be just not that precise. Alesis Ineko? Why would I control my effects with knobs when I can paint it with my fingers on the Kaoss??? Really, the best value for this range of product.

Desirability:
This product is the sexist thing I ever seen! When you power it on the first time, you simply look at the glowing lights of the pad and the control panel and there you fall on your ass...WOW! Perfect for dark club ambiances.

Sound:
Simply the best effect processor you can get, I just can't believe they even put some synth sounds in it...Only with those you can fill up a composition easily! Sound is clean, no annoying noises, except for one of the synths effects. The filters are great, delays rocks and reverbs are reverbs:P

Support:
Asked Korg for the protecting sticker that usually comes with it. They replied really fast and the communication between deps seem really well, apart they do not have those stickers anymore:P

Overall:
BUY THIS! If you're looking for any tabletop effect processor THIS IS THE ONE YOU NEED. No kid, don't be fooled by Linkin Park's DJ using EFX-500, they just don,t get it at all. KAOSS 4EVA

Value:

Feature:
There are so many effects, and some of them take good music to another level. The BPM feature is especially useful as you can make your mixing and sampling seamless. Most of the effects are excellent and you can spend hours fiddling, endlessly discovering new sounds.

Quality:
I owned the previous KP-1 model (which was almost as good) which had just one problem: it was made from plastic and felt tacky. Now, however, the whole unit is made from aluminium and will easily survive accidents, drops and breakages. I can't see myself needing to get repairs in the near future. You'll want to take care of the touch-pad, though, because it can get dirty and scratched. BUT, if you take care of the machine it should give you years of usage.

Value:
This is a very unique product and is FAR superior to other things you may see on the market. That said, it usually retails for

Intro

I got my hands on it yesterday for the first time and I was impressed about its ease-of-use and its range of FX. Just with a tip of a finger you are in control of two parameters at once (X-Y-Axis) which makes it an perfect tool for the road.

Sampling

Its sampling functionality is restricted but usable, a pitty that you have to record them first instead of loading them into the unit (ok, it
