Sound: I really wanted to have an internal miking sysytem for my bass drum but did not want to put out $350 for May internal mics. I already had a good mic and a descent sound but really liked what I heard from internal miking. So I took a chance with the Kelly Shu. Well, I am happy to report, I am very pleased!!! I didn't have to drill any holes in my new drum kit and I don't have any port holes in my bass drum head, which is everything I was trying to achieve. The unit is easy to install, but a little time consuming. very lightweight and durable. I was shocked to see that this thing holds heavy bass drum mics and stays in place even after moving the bass drum for gigs!!! Feature: Can't believe this thing is as durable as it is by just using some elastic bungee cords!!! Ease of Use: Pretty easy to install, just time consuming. Once you get it positioned, you never have to worry about it. Quality: Very well made for being composite material and bungee cords. Value: I feel for what it is made out of, it could be a little cheaper in price. On the plus side, if your not 100% satisfied, it comes with a money back guarantee. Manufacturer Support: n/a The Wow Factor: Product did everything I wanted it to do. Overall: I would recommend this for the working drummer. Eliminates stands, and if you have a bass drum mic that you love the way I do, you never have to worry about your bass drum sounding bad because you have your mic with you in the right position already!
